This is gonna be one of the least competitive Finals ever.  Sheesh.
Trying to think of ones that come close and not many spring to mind. Even the sweeps have had many single-digit victories
I'd say 2007 was also pretty bad. Young Lebron and a band of role players and no-names vs a dynasty.
2023 No Top 75 Fantasy Draft Los Angeles Clippers
PG: Dennis Johnson / Jo Jo White / Stephon Marbury
SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free
SF: Chris Mullin / Ron Artest
PF: Detlef Schrempf / Tom Chambers / Buck Williams
C: Ben Wallace / Andrew Bynum

I would say the first half of the 2007 Finals were bad. Cavs first Finals appearance as well as Brons, facing an experienced dynasty. However the lost games 3 and 4 by a combined 4 points

JJ Redick before Game 1 on why he wanted to see the Heat win.  Really says it well.

Yeah, that was nice. But he also said in that take that the Heat had a much better chance of beating the Lakers than the Celtics, that Boston would have gotten wiped out in 4 to 5 games. I don't agree with that take at all. (not to mention that right now it looks like the Heat could get spanked, although injuries will contribute to that likely outcome).

I disagree. The Celtics had a better chance at beating the Lakers than the Heat. The Celtics have 3 bigs to throw at Davis, and a bunch of quality wings/two guards who can slow LeBron and the rest of that squad down.

The Heat, even when healthy, would've lost in 5 games lol. They're just not something to rave about. Too young, small, and inexperienced for the big lights. The Celtics simply shot themselves in the foot several times for the Heat to win.

On the subject of winning titles, what I have learned from this season (and last tbh) is that a major part of winning a title is:

1. Making the finals (sure helps to have an easy route)

And

2. Having your main guys be healthy once you're there

That'll get you almost all the way there a surprising percentage of the time

Dragic listed as having 'torn plantar fascia'. From what we've seen with players who had that in the past, he's done for the finals.

This is not the same Miami team the Cs played in the ECF.
....that Miami team was healthy and hungry.

Heat without two of their best players.

Meyers Leonard, Tyler Herro, and Jimmy Butler are gonna have to play like their lives depend on it for the rest of the series if they wanna win the championship.

LAL are good; but they have been very fortunate not having to play healthy competition

Their title run is definitely among the easiest roads to a championship we've ever seen.

I'm interested to hear what people think the contenders are for easiest run of four playoff opponents.

2001 Lakers. At least this team faced Dame, CJ, Harden, Westbrook, Jokic and Murray. The 2001 team?? AI? 80% Duncan?  That’s it.

2016-2017 Warriors would like to chime in on that.

4-0 West First-Round vs Portland Trail Blazers
4-0 West Semis vs Utah Jazz
4-0 West Finals vs San Antonio Spurs
4-1 NBA Finals vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Rondo, just two games away from winning his second ring. LeBron adding ring #4 to his collection.

Lakers managed to win a banner in 10 years before the Celtics. What more can happen in 2020?

That team was awesome though.

It wasn't a murderers row that they faced but I think the lopsided nature came from them being a team that won 73 the year before then added a MVP.
