small details like this one matter in the GOAT discussion

I hate seeing fans leaving early because the game is lost. When the leader of the team does it too it's about a million times worse.

People went berserk each time it was "rumored" Belichick and Brady did the same at times (which was proven to be 100% false). But Lebron does it and I'm sure he'll get defended for it  ::)

And yeah as @birdman mentioned, no one talks about how he basically quit on the Lakers last season after March. He was hurt some games but even in the 60+ games he played with them, they were like .500. He probably demanded the Lakers FO trade for Davis, "or else"

OH never mind. I saw the extra 'a' in the first name so I thought he was referring to the Isaiah Thomas we recently had, since the 90s one just had one 'a' (Isiah Thomas)  :P

Saw the entire game.

Simply a Yoeman's Effort by Butler - even more impressive that he did NOT make a Three or take one, I believe.

He did WORK in the paint....he was methodical....like a South Beach Surgeon.

Love his game and attitude.

I always thought he could be a Celtic.

LAL's going to mess around and be tied up if they're not careful.

I usually hate the free throw hunting offense, but seeing it employed successfully against a LeBron team feels like justice to me.

Jimmy was unreal in that game.  I wish it felt more sustainable.  Only shot for the Heat to make this a series is for Bam to come back and for the Heat to rediscover some of the magic they had against the Celts.  If the Heat get a great shooting game from their supporting cast and the Lakers' shooters fall back to earth a bit, they could even this up.  I'm not super optimistic about that happening, but who knows.

Even if this still ends in 5, I'm glad and thankful that something memorable / remarkable came out of this Finals other than the Heat losing two of their best three players to injury in the first half of Game 1.

I didn't see the game but sounds like Robinson and Herro started hitting some shots in the fourth quarter.  Hopefully they can get going in the next game.

I have little hope that Dragic will make it back but hopefully Adebayo doesn't have any lingering affects from the injury.

I just wish Miami could hold on to leads.  In games 1 and 3 at some point they had double digit leads.  There was a lot of game left in the first one when they did that and obviously they were able to hold on in game 3.  Looks like turnovers and offensive rebounds are killing them (and bad shooting from the two mentioned previously).

Herro made some aggressive drives to the basket in the fourth quarter.  Really gave Rondo the business on a key score late in the game.

In other words, he did exactly what we all wished some of the Celtics would have done in crunch time against the Heat.

I predicted Lakers in 5, and I'm sticking with that. LeBron was petulant, as usual, but I see the Lakers rebounding with a strong Game 4 performance.

In a weird twist of events, the Heat might be better off without Bam in this series unless they can scheme things up for him.
