I gained a great deal of respect for Butler from this series. I had respect for him before, but I didn't realize how good he really is.

I hope Jaylen is watching Butler's performance this series and learning from it.

Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more on all points

Well, at least the Yankees won't win it all either. Rays win 2-1 and eliminate the Yanks.

Seeing the Lakers AND Yankees win it all in the same year would have been depressing

Think Jaylen and Butler have very different games, but Jaylen would do well to observe Butler's passing and FT drawing.

Butler was always the one that got away, but I'm more than happy with retaining Tatum and Brown instead.

Danny could have signed Jimmy, outright, instead of Kemba.

I wasn't following as much then, but if true, it's a tough decision.  I can understand choosing Kemba to fill a need, though, as a PG and locker room presence.  We were saturated with wings in Brown, Hayward, Tatum.

I wasn't following as closely at the time, but if true, that's a tough decision.  I can understand choosing Kemba to fill a need, though, as a PG and locker room presence.  We were saturated with wings in Brown, Hayward, Tatum.
Butler was dead set on Miami so we weren't getting him.

Butler is incredibly nifty the way he can draw a foul

Makes sense.  He's the alpha, but with a lot of nice complementary guys in a weaker East.

Yeah, he was always for Miami if I recall correctly.

Butler as our PG would have been something

He seems to have gotten better at playmaking, especially for others, even from his time in Philly.  I like our guys, tho.

Good effort by Miami, but they’re totally out of gas. Taking forever to get into their sets. What a difference Dragic would have made in this series. Really a shame
