Was the Pick 2 Draft your creation, Roy? That was a bunch of fun.

Concept to those that don't know is you got assigned a current franchise with their current rosters, got to pick 2 players to keep on your team then everyone else goes into the draft pool to be drafted.

Unique concept and really fun. Made for some interesting trades.

Yep.  Pick 2 was something I came up with.  Really fun, without being competitive.

The CB Draft was CFF and me, improving upon something that RealGM was doing at the time.  That one turned a bit clique-ish and overly competitive over time.

And an absolute nightmare of epic proportions for the people who had to Commish it.

Yeah.  The reason it died was largely because being commissioner turned into a massive game of “not it” on the staff.
I ran a couple CB Drafts and decided I was going to lay the hammer down on the drama. Maybe was a bit more drill sargeant than I needed to be, but the drama wasn't anything like earlier ones. But still, an absolute nightmare. We killed the playoff and press conference format in the last one I did.

I'm currently lacking any semblance of a guy who can defend Kevin Durant right now if the moment calls for it.

So with pick 12(12), the Utah Jazz will pick a 3 & (tough) D guy ...

I like Tucker.  He’s shown the ability to guard 3 - 5.

I missed the Dragic pick.  He fits into Who’s team identity well.

Gotta say I think I like the 20 year span era of this draft to an All-Time Draft. Maybe we do an 80's/90's version for the next Historical Draft? I would want to be a GM in that.

Do a basbeall or soccer draft too.  ;D

I'd love to do a soccer draft. One like this - 21st Century eligible players - would be a lot of fun.

I'd also be up for doing any double decade NBA draft. 80s/90s is cool. The 70s/80s is surprisingly fun. The 60s/70s is harder depth wise but okay if not too many teams. I'd love to do one of those older drafts with older rules relative to their eras (not have to worry about shooting 3s all the dang time!).

The out of era draft?   Like players from the last 10 years having to play 90's style ball.
