I had him so much lower then his talent level because I just can't trust his health (based on the season's he has played)

There was a discussion on here...maybe in this thread - about health, IIRC. Don't see it as a factor.

In 2015-16 Curry made 200 contested 3's off the dribble, at a 42.5% clip. That was more than 26 teams that season.

That is just an insane statistic when you think about it.  Insane.  I think he and Shaq are the two most dominant offensive players this era and I'm not sure which was more.

You say Curry is a poor defender, but that's simply not really correct. I had that same impression for a while until I watched him more closely and dug deep into the stats on his defence.

The Steph being a poor defender argument can go either way.  He was initially regarded as very weak, which turned out to be false.  But he also wasn't that great.  Most teams try to use p&r to switch big men onto guards.  Houston in the playoffs used it to switch STEPH on to their guards.  And GSW desperately didn't want that so used switching before the pick in order to avoid that matchup, because Houston was killing him in those situations.

I was wondering when he would go.   He was on my "do not draft" list but you can't deny the talent there.

He was on my "Draft his non-star" season.  What makes him an "MVP" doesn't always fit with the deep teams in this game.

I look at it as more of the season picked.   For example, I have plenty of top level Kawhi seasons where he played 80 games and was great in the playoffs.

I debated between him and PG. His fit with Paul Pierce would be lovely. Alas, I thought I'd need more versatility on defense.

No big reaches yet this round, IMO.  Embiid was my lowest player ranked initially a 3rd rounder, but I have discussed in PMs with others how I think he's actually a very useful player in this game.  I probably ranked him too low.  I think he's a second rounder because of fit (on the right teams) rather than overall talent.
