Not unexpected but still pretty wild to see it happen.

Good deal for the Wolves

we will have to see the protection mechanism

Pick is top 3 protected in 2021, unprotected in 2022, per a subsequent Woj tweet.

It’ll be interesting to see if Wiggins becomes the ultimate “change of scenery” player, or if he becomes salary to trade for another star this summer or at the deadline.

I'm not sure he will be exactly the type of player Barnes was. He's not a defender and not a great spot-up shooter.

But the Warriors do need a wing, and I like putting Wiggins' athleticism and driving in the erratic ball-movement style of offense that the Warriors run with Curry and Thompson.

Call me crazy but I think that Wiggins could elevate his play on the warriors.

Huh. I kinda' thought Bell would be a possible guy to fill Capela's role. Caboclo could do that too.

I'm interested in the D'angelo Russell/KAT combo. Probably won't result in winning basketball, but they might be fun to watch.

It’ll be interesting to see if Wiggins becomes the ultimate “change of scenery” player, or if he becomes salary to trade for another star this summer or at the deadline.

I'm not sure what kind of star they will be able to get. Despite his improved statistics this season, Wiggins was already considered one of the worst contracts in the league - clearly worse than Russell - since the Wolves are giving up a decent 1st (and 2nd) just to trade him for Russell.

I do agree that it balances out GSW's roster a bit as they needed another wing and Wiggins could learn to play well within a very professional system. I guess we will see what happens.

Can't wait to see Draymond yell at Wiggins.

IF after this trade it Wolves still stink

then the actual problem child could be KAT

Perkins thinks he is soft. Just after stat stuffing on offense and 10 plus rebounds

doesn't try hard enough to block shots etc.

That assumes that Russell is better than Wiggins. Something I think is dubious.

Washington's demand for Davis Bertans is two first-round picks, per league sources. Bertans will be an unrestricted free agent and the Wizards would like to re-sign him if they keep him. The Celtics one of multiple playoff teams with interest in acquiring Bertans.
