Any chance 76ers give up O'Quinn for a 2nd round pick?

I also like Harry Giles, but doesn't look like is available/no news about him in the trade market
I also like Harry Giles, I think he's friends with Jayson Tatum, similar age.  Could be a good small-ball center.

It’s not that they’re a similar age, it’s that they were teammates at Duke.  That said, I have no idea about the current state of their relationship.

It is.  I’m curious if that means the Gallo/OKC portion of the deal is off.
I don't think so I think it mean that Memphis has locked in what they are doing as part of the package.

Yes from Duke days

also Giles is friend with Grant Williams also

Lets not forget also below

Kings declined to pick up Harry Giles' fourth-season option.

Not sure what the Kings are trying to accomplish by keeping him and likely losing him for nothing

If I'm Giles I'm not resigning next season.

Yup Miami is still pursuing Gallo but it sounds like those talks have cooled.

It also means he has zero trade value.

Dion Waiters also heading to Memphis:

So far it's Iguodala and Crowder (and S Hill) to Miami, Winslow and Waiters to Memphis, right? With more to come probably.

You’re behind the thread.  Solomon Hill is also going to Miami.

Edit:  you edited while I posted, so never mind.

I understand

but wouldn't you take a 2nd round pick for him worst case?

His 4th year option was not picked up. He has recently stated that he has no defined role with the team.

There is a good chance he doesn't return

Kings are not making the playoffs this season

Miami needs to move approximately $12 million more to stay below the hard cap. That excludes Gallinari, who makes $22 million, so if that deal is still on, Miami needs to move roughly $34 million in addition to Winslow and Waiters.  The two most commonly mentioned players in the deal, James Johnson and Olynyk, make a combined $28 million.

Olynyk is the salary that has to go back to Memphis to make it match. Just conjecture.

Miami has agreed to trade Justise Winslow, Dion Waiters and James Johnson to Memphis for Andre Iguodala, Solomon Hill and Jae Crowder, league sources tell ESPN. No picks in the deal.

Woj has just reported it’s James Johnson.

The deal is starting to look much better for Miami — they swapped Iggy for Winslow, which is arguably a downgrade, but also shipped out $28.7 million in owed salary next year for useful players on expiring deals in Crowder and Hill.

Tristan Thompson will not accept a buyout from the Cleveland Cavaliers if he is not traded before Thursday’s deadline, sources close to the situation tell RealGM. – via RealGM

Joe Vardon: The Sixers’ Trey Burke, Kyle O’Quinn, Jonah Bolden are not with the team at shootaround here in Milwaukee. PHL needs to trade or waive two players to make room for Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III. – via Twitter joevardon

I wouldn't mind either Bolden or O'Quinn as a garage sale pickup
