Marcus career average shots per game 10.3
Markieff career average shots per game 10.0

Marcus average shots per 36 13.7
Markieff average shots per 36 13.9

Marcus average shots per 100 poss. 19.0
Markieff average shots per 100 poss. 19.2

Markieff has been a lower minutes guy last few years but he still gets them up at basically the same rate as his brother. Marcus has been shooting a bit more last 4 years, Markieff shot a bit more his first four years. (Marcus is naturally shooting a lot more for the Knicks of course)

Marcus Morris is more of a chucker than Markieff, in terms of...

Marcus Morris will chuck up difficult shots with a hand in the face. Or try to shoot himself out of slumps. Not all the time but sometimes you wonder what he is thinking?

Markieff will wait in the corner and shoot open jump shots. He doesn't force shots like Marcus.

And this would be a better fit with the current Celts lineup as the team already has enough go to scorers

Markieff Morris highlight .  7 threes and 6 assists game back in December

I don't remember him shooting this well from the 3 point line when he was with the Wizards. Has expanded his shooting game nicely.

Any chance 76ers give up O'Quinn for a 2nd round pick?

I also like Harry Giles, but doesn't look like is available/no news about him in the trade market

O’Quinn might just be outright released.

I'd take him over Poirier. I've always liked him as a player. I also wonder if he would have a bit of a chip on his shoulder against Embiid if we faced them in the playoffs.

lol I brought up Markeiff Morris' ESPN page and the 2 things I immediately notice is shooting 39% over last 10 games, and he was recently ejected for a flagrant foul.

I’d love to add Markieff, those Morris boys got grit.
Would add a ton of value off the bench. Plays the 4 and small ball 5. Shoots well from 3, would add vet savy and toughness. Makes our bench a three headed monster.

Could he be bad for Poirier and a second? Would he be worth the Milwaukee 1st rounder?

I’d probably take him over Poirier, but as Poirier has guaranteed money next year, I wouldn’t cut Vincent if O’Quinn did get released.   Both are “break glass” types on our roster.

Phily does need to dump contracts after the warriors trade, but I doubt the even answer Danny’s call.

Crowder to Miami with Iggy.  Per Shams

Quote
Memphis has traded forward Jae Crowder to Miami as part of Andre Iguodala deal, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

I’ve also seen that Solomon Hill is on the move.

EDIT: Shams tweeted this out as I was posting:

That's a lot of salary going to Miami.

I also like Harry Giles, I think he's friends with Jayson Tatum, similar age.  Could be a good small-ball center.

It is.  I’m curious if that means the Gallo/OKC portion of the deal is off.
