Why is Brad even playing the starters in the 4th quarter of this game? Pop would've just ran the bench....

No idea. More non-sensical in-game decision-making by Brad. Clear to any observer that this team wasn't making any comeback tonight with this effort. Not sure what the point was in keeping them in for even more minutes on such a tough back to back.

immature move by Smart.  he's acting like the officiating was the reason they lost rather than the team's crappy play

Might as well show up the refs, they were pretty bad tonight too.  Not that it would have impacted the outcome if they were competent.

Well, if the C's actually happen to go and win tomorrow against MIL, then I'll forget about this loss.

Problem is, I just don't see it.

You do not trade a core guy (Marcus Smart) to improve a young and developing bench. We are still a couple of pieces and maybe a year or two away from being an annual title contender. Don't panic.

As Leonard said this week regarding his Clippers, "Have fun and don't rush title chase."
Might be good advice for us. We are still primed to be a dominant team in the very near future.

When Brad comes in with the bench you know the white flag is being raised.

Sometimes Brown plays small and timid, it happens when he begins missing free throws.

Disappointing loss.

I hate to sound like a jerk, but only someone who doesn't understand basketball would ever compare Jaylen Brown to Jeff Green.  Their games are very dissimilar.

That’s a bad take. 10-16 shooting and 24 points; 12 boards.

This was pretty clearly a lack of effort loss. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see us come out strong and win in Milwaukee tomorrow after this, all because they come to play with the right mentality.

60.3% opposing FG%. Ouch.

That’s crazy about it being the first time in the Garden since ‘06.
