Sooner or later Stevens will have to realize that he cannot count on his bench.

This bench is worse than the ones from the rebuilding years. Literally a bunch of guys that won't be in the league in 2 years. Ainge got scared about the "assigning roles" situation and got some janitors to play with good NBA players
You think grant Williams and Enis and smart won’t be in the league in a couple of years?  And the bench plays significantly better than last year which supposedly had better players.

Ugh, Walker has to give that one up to Brown there, who was ahead of him on the break.

What a depressing loss. And a waste of a good offensive game from Hayward and Brown.

Kemba is ice cold. Shame he caught it instead of Brown who I think Gordon was trying to pass to.

Thats more on DA to get Stevens guys for the bench. He might need to suck it up and move Smart(which I’d hate to see leave) and get a couple guys that will help off the bench.
Do the stats show the bench is actually bad?  I’d be surprised.

Walker just intercepted a pass that I think hayward was trying to get to Brown, then misses Brown ahead of him on the break, then misses the shot.

Can't win if your backcourt is 7-25, especially if you can't get a stop.

That ball def looked intended for Brown, Kemba intercepted it.

Team has issues. Even without Tatum, they should have won, easily.  No hope tomorrow in Milwaukee

Just ugly all around.  The defensive effort this 2nd half has been atrocious.

Like I said, they are 7 deep right now (with Robert Williams -who is not fully ready yet- out). Grant Williams right now can't be the 8th man of a serious contender. His offensive game is so poor, that his defense doesn't fully make up for it (he is far from Smart level). Smart and Kanter are definitely among the good players that contribute, they are also the only ones from the bench. I can't remember a Celtics team being this thin in years

The rebuilding teams were definitely up there though
