White flag about to be run up

And smart gets an early shower

Should've been run up a lot sooner.

On the upside, at least this increases the chance the we see some action at the deadline..

Brutal, brutal loss. I'm gonna hit the bottle.

Hopefully the Spurs can take down Miami tonight.

It's annoying that we've run into important matchups on the 2nd night of a back to back while the other team has the day off before facing us.  Happened against Philly twice and now we play Milwaukee tomorrow.

Yeah, Sixers had no Embiid and have lost to literally everyone since. Don't think that's a great excuse

That six night layoff earlier in the season screwed us.

on a side note, good to see Rose getting back to his old pre-injury self.  great career derailed by injuries.  unfortunately he played like that against us

Could've used Taco tonight and i would've liked to see Romeo get some burn. They don't seem to run anything for Langford and the ball seems to go away from him.

It's not an excuse at all.  I'd just rather have matchups that might end up determining seeding in the playoffs be favorable to us in terms of scheduling.

Tatum (their best player) did not play.

Kemba (their next best player) was bad.

When those two play poorly together, or one does not play at all, this team is mediocre.

Who are we kidding really being a 2nd seed...

I'm pretty sure teams like the Nets and Magic would be fighting tooth and nail for that 7th seed to get their hands on us and will do everything in their power to avoid the Bucks..

Man the Bucks are just on an Island and the rest are on lifeboats.. LOL.

Team has issues. Even without Tatum, they should have won, easily.  No hope tomorrow in Milwaukee
actually, if Tatum plays tomorrow, I think the C's come to play and quite possibly win.  I think a big problem with this game is that they didn't come to play tonight and only Jaylen and Hayward were able to get it going at some point.  Smart and Kemba are still checked out
Checked out yes. So why will they win in Milwaukee?
figuring part of the reason they coasted tonight is that they were thinking of Milwaukee tomorrow.  just a hunch that getting embarrassed tonight will light a fire under their butts tomorrow.
Nope, not their M.O.  they get blown out. I will bet you 10 TPs.

I have to agree to some extent, I don't know if we're a come-out-with-a-vengeance-after-an-embarrassing-loss kind of team but I hope we do.

Five Pistons shooting volume at ridiculous rates

Drummond 5-5
Doumbouya 8-10....2-4 from three
Rose 11-13.... 11-11 from two
Morris 9-14.... 3-6 from three
Mykhailiuk 6-9....5-8 from three

This from a terrible shooting team. Lots of terrible defense but Pistons also made a whole lot of tough shots too.

Given my comments about patience, I will admit it has been real frustrating to have two recent draft picks who were pure 3-point gunners in college come to Boston and (so far) not pan out at all .......

RJ Hunter & now Carson Edwards
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:

Hayward never saw the ball in the 4th after scoring 25 pts thru 3 quarters on 11-15 shooting. Instead we had Kemba and Marcus bricking it
