Tatum is a ways away, until he tightens up that handle and begins too actually see the floor.

A wins a win.
He's the 4th best player on this team.

Agreed.

Someone needs to explain that to him, Brown deserves more touches.

Escaped with that W, but I’ll take it. Game ball to Marcus.

Why is Brown getting effectively no touches?
Because he's a passive player?
Still our leading scorer
Which shows he has flashes being aggressive. Still needs to become better.
It's hard to blame that on him when Brad camps him in the corner to give Tatum a post-up on Barnes, which is not an advantageous matchup at all.

Brown is like 7-8 in the paint and has taken one less shot overall than Tatum, aggressiveness is not his issue.
I already said the issue.  Brown doesn’t have the kind of game where he can score with the defense geared to stop him.
And that's a dated issue
It’s actually not.  He’s improved but still not there.

Brown is a way better passer than Tatum though.
And is a much better finisher at the rim and a much better mid-range shooter than Tatum this season

That's an issue that doesn't exist anymore.
Not true; still exists.

I don't really think so, but its an arguable point I suppose.

He's actually there. His handle is good enough to make him a dribble drive threat whenever he makes his move, and his midrange shooting has gotten accurate enough to pull up whenever his line to the basket gets cut off. Just because Smart and other perimeter players not named Hayward ignore him when he has a favourable matchup/position doesn't mean that he's unable to generate offense when defenses are locked in, it's just the Celtics underutilising him.

Can someone tell me how we allowed three 3's in the last 2 minutes ? Did Brad refuse to double the hot hand again ? Only had gamecast to follow.

Yup. This is how I love to see Marcus play. Cutting back on the three point attempts, distributing, getting in the paint. Great passer and playmaker.

Love our physicality.

Brown is looking more and more like he can do anything he wants out there.

We have some freaks on this club. When they really find their rhythm we are going to be very tough to beat.

Aggresive players get touches. Brown is too laid back to do that. Why do you think the only person we have this conversation about is Brown?
What is Brown supposed to do when his coach decides not to go to him and decides to throw Brown in the corner while Timelord, Smart and Tatum play a 3 man game? Not do what his coach tells him, steal the ball from his team mates and shoot? Brown is very aggressive but Stevens' regularly allows much worse offensive players and shooters to control the ball and create the offense. Stevens hasn't rode a hot hand since IT left. He tries to find an open man to shoot, regardless of how good an offensive player or how hot a player on the court is. You almost never see Boston going to someone all game long.

They probably need to explain that to every perimeter player not named Hayward lol.
