I don't make a big deal out of +/- in a particular game but I do think the fact Wanamaker was -20 verifies the eye test held by many on here regarding his play tonight.   he was a hot turd tonight

His 0% shooting was pretty brutal

U make yourself susceptible to upsets if the other team is more focused and wants the game more than u do. Almost happened twice with the Kings.

I'm not sure that given our current injuries that a loss would necessarily be an upset.

Not an upset at all. Sac easily could have won - in fact it felt all along to me like they were going to.  Beating this team tonight was an excellent win for the C's.

Can someone tell me how we allowed three 3's in the last 2 minutes ? Did Brad refuse to double the hot hand again ? Only had gamecast to follow.
Nope the defense was OK, not the best, but they were just making everything. There was one big lapse on Hield when he was left alone when they inbounded the ball with 1.3 seconds left. It looked to me like they hit at least 6 straight in the last 5 min.

Really imptessed with Semi this game. He's been hitting some 3s and had a nice up and under layup. That crossover stepback midrange J was also something.

That sounds contradictory.  How can it be an "excellent win" if they almost lost?  I was upset at their poor play pretty much throughout.  This was not a fun game to watch and I almost shut if off before it was over.  A bounce here or there, and they would have lost just as they did in Sac.  I don't get the "a win is a win" and "ugly win, but I'll take it" attitudes.  The team should be treating this as a loss so they focus on doing better next game.

I liked Buddy Hield coming out but he is 26 (27 in December) and Brown is 23 (just turned in October).  That is nearly 4 years difference.  That was the big difference then, and still is.  This is probably the best Hield will be.  I am very happy with the Brown pick.  It just happens that Hield is good too.

Kings have injuries to as did Golden State.

Here's the thing about the Kings injuries: Kings have been a lot better after Fox was injured.

They have a better defender on the court in Joseph and can play a half court game built around Buddy Hield. Fox had been playing extremely poorly in half court offense and playing poor defense overall. Now their offense isn't good enough, they need what Fox can bring to be a truly good team but his stagnation in the half court along with the malaise they started the season with on both ends was strangling their team.

Walton is going to have a big challenge working him back into the lineup if they are going to play this style which is not a great fit for Fox. Hopefully he'll fully engaged defensively and they can work the offense from their. Not easy for young PGs who aren't knock down shooters.

Jaylen Brown has been a better player this year on offense and defense and is four years younger than Hield. He just happened to have his best two games by a mile against the C's this year.
