Interesting to see that the Warriors went super small to blow the Pels out. They were starting a 6'4 SG at SF and a 6'6 SF at PF alongside a 6'5 Green at C.

The pelicans bigs were jahill okafor, Kenny Williams, and jaxson hills. That is worse than our bigs
I'd actually kill to have Hayes, he's a great rim runner who provides mobile rim protection.

I think he could be good in time, but he is really raw and would not be playing 25 minutes with Zion and favors healthy. He can even score some now, but I think the defense is okafor level at the moment

He's really raw but I think you're underselling his defense a lot. He's certainly not Okafor level, his athleticism and size makes him quite disruptive on that end.

GSW dynasty had to end sooner or later.

KD's ego just couldn't accept the fact that he won championship because he joined a championship team.

If they still had Klay, they'd be fine, but his injury is a huge obstacle. They'll deal Russell as some point, but I'm not sure what they'll be able to get. They could also keep Russell and go with a backcourt of Curry, Klay at the 2 and Russell at the 3. Wouldn't count the Warriors out yet.

If they had Klay, but they don't have Klay.

It might take the Warriors a while to be relevant again.

Even when they had Klay, Steph, and Draymond, they got beat by Kyrie and Lebron in 2016.
It was only when KD joined GSW that GSW looked invincible.

Yeah, but it was clear GSW can beaten without KD.

When KD was a Warrior, GSW was invincible, they just can't be beaten.

That's a silly conclusion.  Any team can be beaten if it's star players are injured and/or suspended.

After all, GSW this last playoffs still 'had' Durant.   But he was injured.  As was Klay and others on GSW.  So they lost.

Winning in the Finals is almost always about two things:  (1) being good enough to reach the Finals and (2) being healthy once you get there.

I'll never understand Durant. If he stayed in GSW, they could've had a dynasty (an even bigger one that what they already had.)
What does he think? He'll win a string of championships in Brooklyn? Amazing how sometimes the best athletes can't get out of their own way.

Perhaps he actually listened to the criticism about joining a 73-win team that just beat you in the playoffs, and now wants to show he can win after joining an average team.

Well now they are cooked.  Curry breaks his hand.  Without him, they are going to be very very bad.  Like top 5 pick bad, especially in the west.

If they're too bad then they're going to end up with a top 5 pick.

That's not good news as it would allow the Warriors to get another potential star player.

If they do indeed tank, watch out for Draymond Green trade rumors to start swirling.
