They will be decent with healthy Klay back, if Curry doesn't get killed trying to carry the load.

They are all a bit older too.

Without Klay Celtics are better , way more fire power .

I think they will be fine once they get Looney and WCS out there.  Russell and Curry have been awful shooting, that will straighten itself out a bit.  They could use a better SF than Glenn Robinson, but I think they still make the playoffs.  That said, if this continues I think they are going to have to trade Russell for several lesser parts which might make for a greater whole.

Do you rate them better than the Celtics?
With a healthy squad (Looney and WCS eating up almost all of the C minutes available) and a better starting wing, I think they're better than the Celtics barring both of the Jays making the leap into All-Star calibre players. The Curry/Green duo can really buoy a team if they have role players who don't bleed massive value on the court (cough Chriss/Spellman/Paschall on the floor for a significant amount of minutes), and they have a top 50 player in DLO who can be their secondary playmaker/Curry replacement when he sits as a complementary piece.

That's a lot of ifs there, don't you think?? And even if those occur, I think they fall short.

As I predicted in my own mind and to a friend or two...yes, temporarily cooked.

Next year with big three back together, a trade of Russel for something, a new free agent...then let's see....
back to being a very good team if Klay can get his whole game back...
this year Steph and Dray should get plenty of rest...including missing the post season...

GSW will be fine, soon enough.

Any team with Steph, Dray and Coach Kerr will get it together eventually.

Alec Burks' return soon will also help. He will make an impact as a wing who can create his own shot

Well Curry is by far the best player on either team and I think that matters a great deal.  Of course the C's are in the East and they are in the West, so if you told me only one team would make the playoffs I would pick Boston.  In a playoff series though, I think I'd probably favor the Warriors even without Klay just because Curry is by far the best player on the teams.  If Klay comes back then the Warriors are clearly the better team.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

They have kind of been historically bad on defense through two games, and there may be some issues there they don't have the pieces to fix. WCS was signed for like 2 million dollars. I don't think he will end up being a savior defensively. Can Curry and Russell ever be even just mediocre defensively when they are playing together? I think they may have major issues until Klay gets back. I really don't like what they did defensively. I feel like even coaxing Livingston out of retirement would be useful for them.

There's really only one if there, and that's getting a better starting wing lol. Their centers recovering aren't some massive long shot.

Curry remembered he is a 40% 3 point shooter, Draymond nets a triple double, and the Warriors cruise to an easy road victory over the Pelicans.

Worth mentioning the pelicans were out 60% of their starting lineup and probably their 2 best players in Zion and holiday (not to mention. Derrick favors). They could very well be back to performing well, but not a lot you can take away from them beating a team starting hart and okafor

Interesting to see that the Warriors went super small to blow the Pels out. They were starting a 6'4 SG at SF and a 6'6 SF at PF alongside a 6'5 Green at C.

The pelicans bigs were jahill okafor, Kenny Williams, and jaxson hills. That is worse than our bigs

yeah .... no one expects the Warriors to lose all their games. They will win some, but they are going to lose a bunch.

I'd actually kill to have Hayes, he's a great rim runner who provides mobile rim protection.
