I don't know how to rate George Mikan.
Open to suggestions.
I'm sure that is why he lasted this long. I was hesitant to take him as well for that reason, but at the end of the day he was the best player on the best team in the league for basically his entire career and he was imo by far the best player available.
He played so long ago, it is really hard to place him. I mean if you look at his FG%, you think man that is low, but each of his first 3 seasons when he shot basically 43, 41, and 42% he was in the top 5 in all 3 of those seasons. Even the final 3 when he shot under 40%, he was 17, 12, and 17 in the league. It was just a different game in the early 50's, but he led the league in scoring, he led the league in rebounding, and he was the best player in the league and on the best team.
