From scrimmage Team USA - team white vs team blue

Tatum- #34 Blue Jersey
https://youtu.be/sBZT9ljOdfQ?t=108 (nice 3 point shot)
https://youtu.be/sBZT9ljOdfQ?t=167 (another nice 3... that follow through)
https://youtu.be/sBZT9ljOdfQ?t=295 (another 3 on the high screen.  No hesitation)
https://youtu.be/sBZT9ljOdfQ?t=410 (Bully to the basket, and one)
https://youtu.be/sBZT9ljOdfQ?t=437 (nice post and turnaround J)

What stands out right off the bat is his "build".  Shoulders are bigger... you can tell he has put in work at the gym this off season.  His body is trending towards Lebron James power body vs Jeff Green... which is good.  Loved the bully ball to the basket finish.   His jump shot also looks refined. The follow through, no hesitation, focus.

There has been and still is bit of an unknown at the starting PF spot for the 2019 Celtics team,  but Tatum looks like the perfect candidate as a stretch 4

His best bucket was the only one you didn't post. I don't think it's in those highlights. He beat his man with a wicked spin then maneuvered around John Collins for a left handed layup. All star stuff.

Found it. First highlight here.

It's cool seeing him in that #34 jersey.  I want him to develop The Truth's ability to get to the line.

Don't really see the extra muscle, but he looks taller for some reason lol. Would like another 10-15 pounds of muscle at least before I champion him as a game changing PF than SF.

Jason will break out this Yr.. Then GH comes back solid with JB and its a dang recipe for run in the wide open East... Plus Kemba is a calming force for these kids...then you got vets in Smart and Kanter.. I already enjoy them even if I've not seen a minute yet.

Im thinking Tatum could be a top 10 player in a couple of years from now..
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Like the quick strike play that made him a very exceptional rookie in the USA scrimmages/practices. Not sure if he sticks to it or plays better for us. I'm hoping

Definitely feel he has the length and strength now to play power forward for us. Could really solve that one big hole.

Tatum looked Durant-ish out there with that stroke

Saw the same thing. What I really liked was that he was quicker to make decisions and get into his moves. Much better than his slow-motion shake and bake

I agree

He has a near 9'0 reach ... that should be good enough to play PF in this league

Glad to see he is is trending towards PF/SF vs SF/SG ..... it's a better fit imo
