are they putting it all on Kawhi? Why would he go without other pieces?

Kawhi has set it up for high drama. The NBA Chip next season goes through Kawhi.

Clippers can't make a move until they confirm Kawhi's moves. Kawhi haven't meet any team today and will schedule it tomorrow.

Clippers as now are good enough to make the playoffs. They will be fine. Jerry West is the last person you should doubt.

Have put all their eggs in the Kawhi basket..

They already have what Kawhi wants which is the geography as LA is the preferred destination.. Trouble is there is 2 of them vying for his services with those dang Fakers having the upper hand.

If I were KL I'd choose the Clippers... Its obviously better for his legacy than be a cobanana with James and AD, also he really doesn't need a Co superstar with the Clippers, they also have more depth, it's like the Raptors line up actually...plus definitely no drama. Your boss will also be Mr Logo who has a strong history of swooping big time FA.

The only hindrance is of course Kawhi will ask who is coming as well..... Almost all of the important FA have all gone now so what is the Clips next move then.

I could see them going for Cousins to complement Kawhi. Or using the cap space to get quality role players like Green and Morris. I don't think they're in a bad position. I think they are front runners for Kawhi still

Hopefully Leonard goes to Clips not Lakers..they can add pieces like Katner, Green, Morris, Looney...maybe sign Cousins to big deal

I doubt playing with Cousins is a draw for Kawhi.  They'd be better off getting Kawhi and then signing some one year contracts and waiting for next offseason.  Who knows maybe AD decides that he doesn't like playing with Lebron or Lebron gets hurt again.
