I'm not able to keep up with all of the different threads, so in case it hasn't been posted, Celtics are showing interest in a three team sign and trade.

This would be great. I expect at least a S&T with the Hornets, but this would be better, no?

If DA can open enough cap for a good big or two, I would say after last two weeks, he's really pulled things around. Not quite what we expected or hoped, but better than what it was looking like a week ago.

So, I know something you don't know means Ainge already has the sign and trade agreed upon? Wonder which first we give up..if I am NJ, send me the Memphis pick or no soup for you. I would not agree to that but why not try and fleece us.

I think when today is over, we will understand why Danny is leaps and bounds ahead of GMs from teams like the Sixers and Knicks.  When a home crumbles, most would be crushed from the debris while few, architects already have made the plans to rebuild before a day goes by. This is Danny...let the fireworks commence!

The MEM pick would be unprecedented in a deal like this. A 2nd rounder or two is what normally would be expected, but I get that there is a past with BKN. They can either accept the MIL pick, or not. Why they wouldn't take a free 1st rounder is beyond me. Good GMs learn to move on and don't dwell on the past.

To be fair, Brooklyn might not be so keen on helping a division rival for a late 1st rounder. If the Celtics pull this off and are able to re-sign Horford (not to mention possibly Morris while also possibly signing another FA), they are, without question, a top-2 team in the East, at worst. I'm sure Brooklyn knows this.

If BRK doesn’t cooperate, we can still keep the MLE and Bird Rights if we sign-and-Trade Horford plus Baynes + filler.

I want Al back though.

Windhorst said Kyrie been recruiting KD since the All-Star break. Kyrie was gone for awhile should have traded his ass

Bulpett reports Horford won't be returning to Celtics, per NBA TV.

Could the Rozier sign and trade be to get Adams and not re-sign Horford? A low usage bruiser that will set massive picks and do the dirty work our team needs.

Is it enough of a salary match?

Good point by Scott Souza.  With Rozier being in the deal at whatever, $19M, we get a big trade exception, right?  Does anyone know what it would end up being based on what we know?  Then if we sign and trade Horford for some more exception, we are in really good shape to bring in more players.
