MacMulllen "Kyrie didn't like living in Boston"

Jackie Mac just said on the hoop collective podcast that Kyrie never liked living in the city of boston and that is part of reason he is living. Said she heard it from multiple people. I am sure this news will endear him to the posters that were on the fence about him. (i know many people don't have a particularly strong feeling about him)

Sounds like a bogus story. Maybe based in some partial truth, but I don't think that's the reason he's leaving. Just another reporter looking for another unique angle/story for more clicks.

The nightlife isn't all that great compared to NYC and LA. Winters suck. Then there's the whole racism thing.

Better than burning the team down and then sticking around to dance in the ashes at least.  He’s had one important moment of self-awareness in the last 9 months (his only such moment perhaps) — that he should leave, regardless of anything Ainge might offer.

Why wouldn't Jackie say it before? Because Kyrie didn't want it out before and neither did the Celtics. Those would be her two sources on the situation. When a source gives you background information you don't immediately publish it, that's not the job.

Also think of who was her sourcing for those stories with Kyrie? That source was also sick of the FA noise and the turmoil and lashed out about it. So she hears some background gossip, you think she should immediately publish?
