Danny has done a p----poor job for years, now.
The most assets in the league. Not just the most assets, the most high-end assets, and we have absolutely nothing to show for it. You think it would've taken Pat Riley, Jerry West or Masai Ujiri 7 years to build a treadmill team with those kind of assets?
The Lakers have a better future than us, so do the 76ers. Heck, depending on how the rest of this off-season plays out, the effing Nets, the same team we absolutely fleeced, are in a better position than us.
The myth of Ainge's greatness has always been just that: a myth. Group think. It is absolutely delusional to call Danny Ainge a good GM at this point.
Here's an interesting stat: 50%.
Remember the last long stretch we went without a championship, also known as "The Great Drought"? It lasted from 1986 to 2008. 22 years! Well, it's 2019, which makes it eleven years since our last title. That's right, we're 50% there replicating our last drought, all under Danny's so-called leadership, and we're at least another 5 years away from even being good again.
And it's not like his hands were tied and there weren't any good players available. Paul George changed teams, so did Kawhi, and all we got was Kyrie effing Irving.
People who still defend Ainge at this point are either harmony addicts, dumb as a rock, or internet karma prostitutes.
