Gerald Green would not be a bad option guys I wanna keep saying that. He got playoff minutes for the Mavericks last year & started a few games, I think he is ready to turn the corner this year. He is only 24 so we also get younger & deeper for the future. When Pierce & Allen retire we would have a nucleus of Rondo,Green, & Perk. Which isn't the best, but not bad at all.

How is Green any different than Giddens and Walker? He's got a tremendously low basketball IQ, and has proven that with 3 coaches. At this point he is what he is. Giddens and Walker still might have some upside.

he's not
The difference is he has at least a little experience.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

While I do not want Gerald, he has shown an ability to score in the NBA that the other 2 haven't yet shown.

By the way, Gerald is actually younger than Giddens.

Sigh.

And is arguably the dumbest player to ever wear Celtic green - which is why he left here in the first place. He's not capable of being part of anyone's core, let alone ours. Ever.

Gerald Green ain't walking through that door - and he shouldn't. We're the Boston Celtics. We can do better than mental midget basketball.

Amazing how this keeps coming up.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Right because Giddens and Walker are basketball geniuses.
