Rondo House Pruitt
Allen Giddens
Pierce Posey Walker
KG Powe
Perk BBD
This works early on in the year and is very flexible. It gives playing time to our young guys and allows us to see what we have and our biggest needs.
- Our most glaring need i would think is to find another defensive minded big (vet preferred) to back up perk so it keeps kg from playing the 5 much.
- If we find a vet PG, or if Pruitt isnt showing much, we move him back to the dleague and insert said vet. perhaps even cassell.
- If giddens/walker isnt playing well, house/posey or tony if he is still with us fills the role or we look for a FA.
This allows us to have max flexibility, while getting a good look at what we have in these young players. Finding out early in the year if they can contribute and to what extent is a big part of who/what we need. The backup C position needs to be addressed, but how desperate that is depends on how much or if BBD has improved. His energy can make up for his lack of height in spots. Also, not having house with us to be able to play the 1 really hurts us at times too. Having a gunslinging shooter who is also a smart passer and team player is a tough thing to find. Having the offense run through pierce/ray while house is in just helps to spread the floor and create impossible matchup situations for the other team.
