Update. JD Davidson will win rookie of the year, League MVP, and Finals MVP all this year.

We absolutely cannot use him in a trade for Durant!

How about for Kyrie ?   :P

If it’s Giannis I consider it, but still probably not.

I'd do JD for Giannis if picks were coming our way.

I'm really looking forward to watching this kid tonight. JD really loves to play basketball which is always a good sign.

Yeah, might be our last chance for a while. Plan to watch on the big screen rather than my usual iPad.

If this kid plays next game like that last one, he could get roster spot. Talent is obvious. You can see how much the coaches want the ball in his hands as much as possible. We don’t have a point guard who can do that and it adds another dimension for us.

Also good to point out how impressed I am with the Celtics coaching in summer league especially the past two seasons. Our teams seem so much better playing team defense, running offense and just overall hustle. Really impressed. Celtics have great culture you can see it in the summer league team.

Would you choose him over Pritchard?

I mean would you make Pritchard expendable in a trade to land a rotation caliber backup wing or backup center. Then have JD Davison take over as 3rd string PG.

It would be nice to have a real PG who can be a change-of-pace type option as 3rd string PG behind all those combo guards. Pritchard is a solid player and very good outside shooter but he doesn't offer that contrast; that pure PG type skill-set.

We need to pool our money and watch games on the drive in screen next year!

Can't remember the last time I went to a drive-in.
