Let's be honest. Danny missed out every trade or FA signing to happen in last 2 years, except Horford. That's like Durant, Butler, PG13, Griffin and a lots of other players Celtics were connected to. And all with great assets in pocket. Something's wrong with him. He seems like great collector of picks and assets, but when it comes to pull the last trigger he just stops.
Nothing wrong with DA at all.  He's smartly accumulated assets WHILE the team improves (you do recall Cs having the best record in the East this season), and now unwilling to overpay for marginal upgrades (Butler) or one year rental (PG). The guy is a great GM and I'm glad he's working for the Boston Celtics.

Let's be honest. He's considered to be one of the top GMs, he offered Durant all he could, no indication he was chasing Butler recently, no one can figure out Indy trade of PG13 to OKC, and Griffin never had the slightest intention of leaving LA.

I spoke to one executive who was clearly speaking out of emotion - "worst trade in NBA history" - lol

What's wrong with him is that he's unwilling to make a dumb deal, unlike many on this board.
