Some people are taking Ainge's habits to the head.

This is ridiculous, what a team we could have fielded.

You guys say wait , this and that, well some of these guys will either bolt, get older, get worse, and on top of it many of our guys will take 5 years or more to get to that level

meanwhile we could have gotten paul george, hayward, it, horford, as a lineup

Celtics offered 3 1st round picks for George. They declined. Celtics offer was better than the oladipo contract dump they got

Its not Dannys fault the pacers have terrible management

We did get Horford tho. If we're being fair.

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are players who the Celtics have seen in their practices extensively, who they know enough about. If they refuse to move them for George, I trust them. Either one or both of them could be better than George soon.

LOL what did I tell you all?

George off the table

No Griffin

How you feelin?

and no one did. just because Indiana took a lesser deal does not mean the deal was better than Danny's.

That's true but again he isn't really a type of player to make a big differnce (don't count Fultz here). What I want to say is that players who can get us to the next level ain't coming here. Imagine if we traded for Cousins earlier this year and than traded for  Butler/PG, that team would be better than Cavaliers and would have some chances against Warriors not the biggest in the world but again..., and at the end we are still here with Crawder who Ainge really love?!?! and all those assets just waiting to be used as "next year draft is going to be stacked, just relax, Ainge have everything under his control"

I think Westbrook signs the DPV and wouldn't be surprised at all to see George sign a 2 or 3 year extension next summer in OKC.  I think this trade puts them ahead of Houston right now. Be interested to see what happens over the next week.

And they could have done Butler for Tatum straight up and said no.  Guessing there's a pretty good reason for that.

Yeah, Butler is not a consistent 3PT shooter and a horrible fit for our pace and space, move the ball system.

I just don't think Boston is thought to be a desirable destination. Too many of these players want warm weather it seems.

And I feel like the Celtics are a disliked franchise by some players, agents, and GM's. It's almost like the fleecing of the Nets has caused a terrible envy in the league.

The players remaining that could cause an impact is shrinking. Hayward, and Milsap, then there's a dip in really high caliber talent.

Not good.

From a different source:

http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0672625701681108161-4

Celtics offer on draft night for Paul George, per league source, was 3 first-round picks (not the Nets pick next year or the Lakers/Kings pick) and two starters (Crowder being one).

Personally I think that's a better offer than OKC.

It seems like Indy did it just out of resentment for danny not giving up everything for a one year rental

No way it was out of resentment. Possibly because Indy wanted their former superstar out of the Eadtern conference.
