@Ogaju

Yes, ofc Olajuwon has a dual citizenship (US-Nigeria). Same with Ewing iirc (US-Jamaica).

The point I was trying to make was about public perception.

I missed the game v Houston last night, where Jaylen started, but didn't play much.

Typical short leash by Brad?  Seemed to have a lot of early fouls called against him.
it isn't a short leash if you aren't very good.

He is going to be good and that is very obvious but it's going to take some time. Who cares about the rising star. I bet he will be invited next year.
Brown will not be invited to this game next year either.  There will be too many good American rookies.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

He has averaged 13.5 minutes and 5 points a game.

That just wont get you on the team.

Because Exum and Chriss were much better, right?   ::) ::)

Exum in 19 MPG - 5.2 PPG, 1.9 RPG and 1.7 APG
Chris in 18 MPG - 7.2 PPG, 2.3 RPG and 2.2 APG

Brown in 13 MPG - 5 PPG, 2.1 RPG

Give Brown minutes like those guys have and he will average better numbers.
Exum is on the world team and Chris is a completely reasonable decision.

Towns is technically a World player since he's from Dominican Republic.
He's from New Jersey lol.

Towns has been playing on the DR national team since he was 17 years old. This is not a surprise. I also think they are trying to abide by the FIBA rule that once a player plays for one country they cant choose to play for another.

No one here is complaining that Kyrie Irving is playing for Team USA when he was born in Australia.
