That Lakers forum is poisonous.
Goal for next season: Top 2 seed.
Say goodbye to: Turner, Zeller, Sully.

I got banned from lakersground for basically talking about the celtics and how they are tanking just like the Lakers.

It's hilarious that they think their team is trying super hard to win every game but the Celtics are just openly throwing games. Such a double standard.

You got banned?  Are  you serious?  I was over there watching your posts a couple of weeks ago, and I can't believe how they were missing your points.  They are basically in the same bus as we are, but somehow we are breaking their 'rules' by losing more games or something.  I couldn't really understand a lot of their points.

Our little discussions on here seem pretty grounded in reality compared to that forum...hhahaha wow.

We want Utah to win.  This means the Celtics would be tied with them as far as 4th fewest wins.  Better draft position for us means we want Utah to win!

Well, the Lakers won.  The worst we can do in the lottery race is finish tied with the lakers for fifth.

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

and the best we can do is tie for 4th with Jazz.  Unlikely they lose in Minnesota though.

I'm ecstatic with the fourth to sixth best odds in this year's lottery.

Me too... the 9th pick is technically still in play, but it's looking like we're walking away from the draft with a big time prospect... perhaps the best prospect we've had on this team since Rondo.

This is exciting if we keep the kid.  Last time we had a Top 6 talent and kept him... it was like... 1997?  Ron Mercer/Billups in a perceived 1 player draft (Duncan or bust).   Year before that we got Toine with the #6.

You gotta go all the way back to 1980 to find a Top 5 pick the Celtics kept... some kid named Kevin McHale.  Granted, we took Bias in 1986, but I'm trying to keep this positive.   It's been a long time since Boston has had a legitimate star prospect that we didn't stumble into.  This has the potential be a very fun season coming up.  I'm thrilled.

We'd encourage against it.  Let their site be a cess pool if that's what they want, but don't tempt them to retaliate against CelticsBlog.

figuring a loss to Washington in the finale but this team seems to be winning the games projected as losses and losing the games projected as wins.

ALTHOUGH, tying the Lakers for 5th worst record, combining the ping pong balls and then winning the top spot with the numbers we're allotted while LA gets nothing and slips down lower than fifth would be oh so sweet :)
