Improve the front 4. Improve the OLine. Get them to 320 lbs a piece. The Eagles have the blueprint for success.

They won with Jalen Hurts why can't we win with Drake Maye. Let's get it done Vrabel

There was an interesting graphic shown during the Super Bowl; not sure I remember all the numbers exactly, but I think it was the following info about average size of O-linemen:

Packers O-line in Super Bowl I: 6'3", 245 lbs
Eagles O-line in Super Bowl LIX: 6'6", 338 lbs

A vast difference there.

Lots of draft speculation lately.  My current prediction is that 2 QBs and Carter will be the top 3 picks.  Either by direct picks or trades.  That leaves us Hunter, which would be great.

If it does not go that way, I rather go with Mason Graham over Campbell. 1 good defensive player has more impact that one good OL.  Or trade the pick as that would mean one of the top QBs has slid and could generate trade interest.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) ? The Miami Dolphins are the top-ranked team, followed by the Minnesota Vikings, for the second consecutive season in the NFL Players Association report card.

The Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers rounded out the top five in the third annual NLPA report card released Wednesday at the NFL scouting combine.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals were the bottom five.

JC Tretter, the NFLPA?s chief strategy officer, said 1,695 players responded to the survey, an average of 52 players per team and 77% of the union?s membership. The report cards were compiled between Aug. 26 and Nov. 20.

Owners were graded on two new categories this time around. Previously, players were asked to rate how willing owners were to invest in the team's facilities.

Stephen Ross (Dolphins), Zygi Wilf (Vikings), Arthur Blank (Falcons), Greg Prenner (Broncos) and Dean Spanos (Chargers) finished 1-5 in that category.

Robert Kraft (Patriots), David Tepper (Panthers), Art Rooney II (Steelers), Michael Bidwell (Cardinals) and Woody Johnson (Jets) were the bottom five.

Quote
Bidwell, Jimmy Haslam (Browns), Kraft, Tepper and Johnson were the bottom five for team culture. Mike Brown (Bengals), Haslam, Kraft, Johnson and Tepper were the bottom five for competitive building.

Wow.  Pats' players hate Robert Kraft.

Wow.  Pats' players hate Robert Kraft.

I'd say a good amount of the fanbase has turned on him too.

Yeah, I've noticed that more.  I just sort of assumed that Kraft would be viewed by players as a middle of the road owner.  Instead, he's ranked right down there with Woody Johnson and the Carolina owner.

For how he handled the whole Netflix documentary and Jerod Mayo decision and not willing to spend, and his massage controversy yeah he's right there with Woody and the Panthers

It goes back farther than that stuff.

For the fans that are optimistic about free agency and all the cap space, does that poll change your opinion that the Pats will improve through free agency? I think leftovers may be a fitting description for the Pats upcoming free agency.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The Patriots ranked 31st out of 32 NFL teams as part of the 2025 report cards, which were compiled by the NFLPA via an anonymous survey of 1,695 players across the league.

New England has seemingly regressed with each new year that the NFLPA report cards have been released ranking 24th in 2023, dropping down five spots in 2024, and now ranking second-to-last in the league behind only the Arizona Cardinals.

Here is how New England graded out in several areas this past season:

Treatment of Families: C- (18th)
Food/Dining Area: C (24th)
Nutritionist: B (25th)
Locker Room: C- (22nd)
Training Room: C- (30th)
Training Staff: C+ (26th)
Weight Room: F (32nd)
Strength Coaches: B (26th)
Team Travel: F (32nd)
Head Coach: B+ (24th)
Ownership: D (29th)

Brady masked a lot of things over the years, and helped out by taking "paycuts" which he might not have needed to tbh, the cap can be manipulated in many ways. And frankly, the same goes for Belichick. Yeah he regressed in recent years and had some horrible decisions (letting Brady go, benching Butler in SB, etc.) but he did keep things mostly tight-lipped in the locker room and handled the media pretty well in terms of not letting a lot leak. He took the bullet a lot of times when talking about decisions and stuff within the organization too.

Now that both are gone, the Krafts are getting heavily exposed and rightfully so.

I'm still worried they aren't gonna do enough this offseason. They have 120M in cap space, they better spend most of it. If not, they deserve to get crucified even more.

How do you explain Vrabel and McDaniels returning?  It would seem to me that they would know better than anyone what to expect from the Krafts, and yet they chose NE.  That tells me not to over-blow a player poll.
