The #Celtics are reportedly hopeful they can come to an agreement with Al Horford before it's too late 👇

Bulpett reported an hour and half ago that he's gone.  I believe him before I believe anyone connected with NBC Sports Boston.

I wonder if Horford is going to Milwaukee. He’d be a great fit there.

Surely they don’t have the money to add someone like Horford.

Still think this is mainly a negotiation tactic to try and get the C’s to bite and pay more. Not saying he for sure stays, but I’m skeptical that he’d already know where he’s going.
I think he knows what the number the C's need to get to is. So he might have it down to two places!

Yeah this could all be a shakedown from Big Al.

We will see! Either way I don't blame him, its not like we made the move for AD with Kyrie and are favorites, get paid.

GULP.....we are officially back to 2013 again. Our best player will be soon to be 29 Hayward who we have no idea if he will ever be back to Utah form.

But atleast we have Tatum, Brown and Smart.

My oh my what a freakin reversal of fortunes between our beloved Cs and the freakin Fakers franchise.

We are much better off than in 2013.

Also, do we all remember where Ainge took us from there? Within two years we had a boatload of top draft picks. Within four years we had those picks and two All-Stars, along with another former All-Star.

How much would you guys be willing to pay Al to get him to stay? The figure we were all working on was 3yr/60m, I don't know if that was Danny's number or just something that the media made up. Would you be willing to go 4yr/80m? Or 3yr/75m?
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Problem is nobody is going to allow him to fleece them again.

3/75 was what I thought we'd land on.

I don't know how high I'd go, I haven't studied our tax and cap situation with no AD/Kyrie....

Danny is hauling off and destroying the entire team. He doesn't deserve the chance to oversee another rebuild. He either corrects the ship and retains our Stars, or he leaves. I hope Wyc realizes this.

Danny brought this team a championship after a 22-year drought. He's a top-5 GM who, as recently as last fall, had amassed a treasure trove of assets that was the envy of the league. Stop being a prisoner of the moment and see how this all plays out.

You really live up to the "Never Nervous" nickname, don't you! ;D

I like the 'stop being a prisoner of the moment' comment, I am def going to use that sometime.  Probably with my wife!
haha

Good luck!

You don't opt out of 32 million dollars unless you know you can make it all up and then some.

And with all of that good stuff, we still didn't get to the NBA Finals. Let's hope this rebuild ends better.

He's got an agreement in place from another team.  That's the only way you abruptly walk away from a negotiation. Guessing it's either Milwaukee or the Clippers.

How can the Bucks afford him? They are cap strapped with multiple RFAs...

I am going to echo comments from others, it seems hard to imagine that the Bucks are able to make the money work for this, unless they are planning to jetison some of their own more expensive talent.

Clippers seem like a logical spot w/ KL
