I'll still always appreciate his playoff run for us last year, and I wish him the best in the next chapter of his career. He cost himself. He should've accepted his role and tried his hardest to excel at it. Make Sixth Man of the Year your goal.

I mean I don’t remember Terry complaining about it to the press. He just flat out sucks coming off the bench. For a good percentage of the games he started when Kyrie was out he seemed to play ok. But he was horrible off the bench. Either way he is gone.

It is a window into the inner workings of this team during the year. If he felt the whole season was a sacrifice for him, and he meant involuntary sacrifice, it is no wonder the season went so badly. Team should have made some trades during the season.

And he told Jackie Mac in an interview last week that he felt like he "went from the passenger seat to the trunk".So yeah, I think he's had some issues with his role.

We all knew he had issues with it, who wouldn’t, but what I was trying to say is that he didn’t go to the press with it during the season. He kept it in the locker room. I guess I am not sure what he wanted to happen. I guess he wanted to be traded because he wasn’t starting ahead of Kryie no matter what.

Kyrie was justified in his comments. If he sticks around, you can expect that we'll have a veteran roster around him. Big changes coming either way.

This and the other quote about the year being a "bunch of bull****" for him is insightful. We've been hearing stuff like this all season. A couple months ago Rozier admitted that when he's on the court he sees his own teammates as competition. The young guys on this team were a problem. They didn't buy in. Kyrie was justified in his comments. If he sticks around, you can expect that we'll have a veteran roster around him. Big changes coming either way.
Kyrie is allowed to he that way by being a superstar.
Good coaching woulda put him on the wing and developed him into a sg like avery Bradley.
