To be fair he probably lost the most finanacial wise out of the players on the team. I'll still always appreciate his playoff run for us last year, and I wish him the best in the next chapter of his career.

He cost himself. He should've accepted his role and tried his hardest to excel at it. Make Sixth Man of the Year your goal.

Was it really a problem of him accepting his role?  I mean I don’t remember Terry complaining about it to the press.  He just flat out sucks coming off the bench.  For a good percentage of the games he started when Kyrie was out he seemed to play ok.  But he was horrible off the bench.  Either way he is gone.

He wasn’t happy all year. From drivers seat to the trunk was one of his quotes.

He's doing plenty of talking to the press tonight. And he told Jackie Mac in an interview last week that he felt like he "went from the passenger seat to the trunk".

So yeah, I think he's had some issues with his role.

This is statement from Rozier is very telling. It is a window into the inner workings of this team during the year. If he felt the whole season was a sacrifice for him, and he meant involuntary sacrifice, it is no wonder the season went so badly. Team should have made some trades during the season.

Exactly. It says a lot. This and the other quote about the year being a "bunch of bull****" for him is insightful.

I guess I didn’t word that very well.  We all knew he had issues with it, who wouldn’t, but what I was trying to say is that he didn’t go to the press with it during the season.  He kept it in the locker room.

I guess I am not sure what he wanted to happen.  I guess he wanted to be traded because he wasn’t starting ahead of Kryie no matter what.

He isn't starter material either way with the way he performed all year long. Maybe for a lottery team that needs a PG fill but anywhere else, nope.

We've been hearing stuff like this all season.  A couple months ago Rozier admitted that when he's on the court he sees his own teammates as competition.

The young guys on this team were a problem.  They didn't buy in.  Kyrie was justified in his comments.  If he sticks around, you can expect that we'll have a veteran roster around him.  Big changes coming either way.

He should have been traded at deadline.

No reason not to.

But happy to see him go.

And also a hypocrite because he is the same way and was our fearless leader.   Uncle Pew.

Kyrie is allowed to he that way by being a superstar.

I see it the other way.  The veteran was a terrible leader, who said a lot of dumb things to the press, and who acted he like he was better than everyone else (even if he is a good leader doesn't act that way).

Funny, do you really see him as a superstar, because I do not.   He is a star level of player, but I think a superstar is a top 1- 10 maybe top 20 player which I question.

Good coaching woulda put him on the wing and developed him into a sg like avery Bradley.

He's not a good enough shooter or defender to play off the ball full time.
