Hey at least he'd be a fan favourite lol. And from what I know he's been a pretty good locker room guy in Denver, and I'd love to actually have some vets who can bring stability in the locker room.

He hasn't been a positive offensive player since the eastern conference semi's two years ago. Scheme doesn't make your hip work better or give you your burst back.

IT is tiny and relied on his elite athleticism to get his shots. Losing what he has means he can't make anything anymore.

This team is cooked.  Losing to a better team.  I know people don’t want to admit it but whatever.

So two questions.  What do you want to happen?  What do you think will happen?

Me?  It’s clear as day that we should do everything to get Davis here.  Or perhaps not, as I’m sure some would rather not keep kyrie.  Of course, Tatum and the picks might not be enough to get Davis.  Maybe by adding brown?

What will happen?  I’m thinking no Davis, kyrie walks, we’re back to a 6-8 seed.

From what he's shown in Cleveland, LA and Denver he seems completely toast. He still scores a lot per minute, but his efficiency is god awful. As in worse than Rozier awful. With perhaps the most ineffective guard defence in the league.

Bucks have a better bench and consistent shot makers from outside. They ARE a good shooting team...esp from 3. Boston has a bunch of chuckers from three.

Try to resign Kyrie to try to get AD. That should be plan A. Find shooters to go with them.

I do not see Kyrie resigning with the team as is. He is going to want AD or someone big to help. If he walks, just go young.

Hayward hope he can return to form. Allow Rozier to walk and Let GH be a point forward. He is best in that role.

Use the picks on players or package them for a vet/to move up

Agree with this. Keep Kyrie only if we can get AD.
if Kyrie is gone see maybe Hayward will be back to his old alpha days.

Kyrie and Hayward need to be separated.

IMO keep the better player and keep Kyrie, Trade away Hayward for better fits.

Tough defensive players that can spread the floor for kyrie.

Name a plausible trade that involves us moving Hayward and getting tough shooting defenders

Doesnt necessarily have to come from the same deal.

We have a minimum of 3 drat picks. Mle etc to use.

And Brown and smart are starting to fit that mold as well.

Looking back now, the Irving trade was bad..he dont fit on this team..his attitude is awful..went to ECF without him last season and with him this season has been a disaster

Major improvements to the east had nithing to do with it though?

What I want:

- Kyrie signs with some other team that will deal with his antics and be disappointed by his performances when it matters.

- Ainge makes some savvy draft day deals but does not trade all the assets for a one year rental of AD

- Horford opts out and re-signs a 3-4 year deal at a reasonable figure.

- Baynes opts out and signs elsewhere

- Rozier signs for 4 yrs / 40 million (trade bait in 6 months)

- Marcus Morris signs elsewhere



What will happen:

- Ainge will go all-out for AD and then try to convince Kyrie to re-sign

- I will worry all summer long that next season will be an emotional sequel to this season.

God I hate your "want" regarding Rozier. Even if we wanted him to be trade bait we could end up stuck with him. I think I'd ignore the Celtics until he was gone

I don't want Rozier back, but I am curious to see what he fetches in the market. Does this season and his lackluster postseason so far actually put him in the MLE range for his next contract (~9M a year max)? Or will teams still be willing to sign him at like 12M+ AAV for 3+ years? I'm interested in monitoring that.

DA has a man crush on Rozier, so as much as i don't want Rozier back he will be back if he doesn't get any high offers.
