Bucks have a better bench and consistent shot makers from outside. They ARE a good shooting team...esp from 3. Boston has a bunch of chuckers from three.

Try to resign Kyrie to try to get AD. That should be plan A. Find shooters to go with them.

I do not see Kyrie resigning with the team as is. He is going to want AD or someone big to help. If he walks, just go young.

Hayward hope he can return to form. Allow Rozier to walk and Let GH be a point forward. He is best in that role.

Use the picks on players or package them for a vet/to move up
Agree with this. Keep Kyrie only if we can get AD.
if Kyrie is gone see maybe Hayward will be back to his old alpha days.

Kyrie and Hayward need to be separated.

IMO keep the better player and keep Kyrie, Trade away Hayward for better fits.

Tough defensive players that can spread the floor for kyrie.

Name a plausible trade that involves us moving Hayward and getting tough shooting defenders

They are stuck with Hayward. In order to move him they are going to have to take back a lot of garbage contracts...Cavs seem to be interested but Boston has to take back JR Smith's contract.

I do think Hayward is best with the ball in his hands running the offense. He looks absolutely lost out there at times this season...and I think we have to stop using the injury as an excuse.

Kyrie needs shooters...much like the Bucks have...drive and kick. Right now Boston just doesn't have guys that can consistently make jump shots.

I would move anyone to get AD. Kyrie, AD and build from there. I was against moving Tatum, but I would do it tomorrow. I am afraid AD actually might stay in NO and then we would see Kyrie walk.

Kyrie to me is not staying with the roster as is. He is better when he is the second option.

Bottomline is this team just doesn't like each other. The chemistry and leadership has been forced and nothing has worked.

Looking back now, the Irving trade was bad..he dont fit on this team..his attitude is awful..went to ECF without him last season and with him this season has been a disaster
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

What should happen?

I think Kyrie is gone. Prolly west coast...clippers...maybe back to the Lakers...cannot see him in Brooklyn and them resigning Russell. Knicks only if KD comes. but I do not think he will be a Celtic. The relationship with his teammates is all but fractured.

With no Kyrie...why trade a ton of picks and young talent for AD? Makes no sense. Keep Tatum, Brown, Smart etc and build. Use the three #1s to add young players or a ve. Rozier can walk. Let Hayward run the show.

But this with Kyrie does not work as constructed.

The whole team played terrible, except for Brown having a few good games. Your logic dictates we trade everyone.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I am not giving up on Gordon, let's see how he looks next season. I have seen good things from him this season sure it didn't happen this series but There is hope, with the Kyrie situation I am indifferent if he stays or goes. We just need a plan B if the AD trade does not happen.

Irving trade was fine. Given IT hasn't been even a rotation level player since then it was just the 8th pick and a wing we didn't need for two years of Kyrie. Doesn't seem to have worked out due to injuries to him last year and Hayward.

Now you see if Irving is gone or not. All the noise says he's on his way out this morning, good thing is that C's are in a good position to pivot around Tatum/Brown's timeline in response.

There's still one more piece of the puzzle that needs to be answered heading into the off-season.  Danny Ainge needs to challenge these players individually behind closed doors.  Who is going to remain stubborn and/or afraid to change?  Who is going to reflect and embrace the process of improvement during the off-season?

I have no doubts about Jaylen, Smart, and Morris.  Kyrie, Tatum and Hayward are the hardest to figure out IMO.  Tatum needs to show some humility and commit to becoming a smarter and more well-rounded player  On the flip side, I'd like to see Hayward to show some selfishness and dissatisfaction with his role.  He's a team player when push comes to shove, but this team will need the killer instinct that he displayed in Utah.

Hayward needed a full season of NBA basketball under his belt. Hopefully he'll make strides toward full recovery and get back to that level again. I withhold blame from him because he's really just not right yet.

Only way I consider that Cavs trade is if they throw in the their 1st round pick this summer. Other than that, they can go pound sand. If the Celts let the offense run through Hayward next season, I think we'll see a much improved player.

Hayward did nothing at all besides take time, developement and chemistry away from JB and Tatum. That's all he's done.

And his ceiling is what both give you while still being raw, but with way more intangibles.

And lol at someone mentioning he should be the point.  Smh

IDK. Anthony Davis is a better player than Kyrie will ever be. He automatically becomes one of the best players in the conference, after Giannis and maybe nobody else. Kawhi might be gone anyway. If Kyrie walks (and I think he'll stay), we keep Jaylen, then we've got:

AD
Horford
Hayward
Brown
...PG? Rozier for now? If we can keep him, Smart?

Then there are some holes Danny would need to fill, but that's not a bad place to be.

Agree, and btw why not IT on a min? He'll have something to prove, and Brad has shown that his schemes can maximize IT's talents.
