I see people on here saying they need to "attack the basket", but as we saw late in the half, Kyrie did that and didn't get a call  ::) ::) ::)

This game is being stolen. I mean our guys are driving but can't get a call.
Bucks are defending them.  They didn't win 60 games just because they have Giannis
Exactly.  This isn’t the refs.  Their entire scheme is to prevent finishing at the basket.  This shouldn’t be a surprise.

I guess I'm watching a different game than you...
You must be because the refs and I are seeing the same thing.  Unless you’re a conspiracist or something.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Kyrie got BLATANTLY fouled right there but god forbid the Greek Golden Boy gets actually called for breaking the rules.

This is why the NBA is genuinely just crap

He's committed about 6 offensive fouls that haven't been called. 2 on a single drive. Impossible to defend him if the refs aren't going to call a somewhat fair game.
It’s like if one team on 2K is playing with travels, offensive 3 seconds and offensive fouls switched off while the other isn’t

With that said, I'm concerned. We're shooting 47% from the field + 43% from 3 and we're only up by 1.

9 TO's, 3 points from the bench.  That needs to change.  Their chance of winning this series is the next 24 minutes.  I really think they need to win both games in Boston.

Need Kyrie and Al to step it up in 2nd half. We can’t win without them bringing A game.

Who on Boston is going to volunteer to attack the basket?

It’s really just Kyrie and Gordon who have attacked the basket in half court, Kyrie has been shoot first and Gordon been pass first

I’d like to see Hayward mix it up more in the 2nd and take some shots or try to draw fouls close to the rim, so he doesn’t get too predictable

Our players really do not complain or lobby for calls like other teams. Our coach is so docile he has infected the team with his docility

I do think Al has been conservative vs Giannis so he stays out of foul trouble. Down the stretch he'll bring his A defensive game.

But he isn't doing it knowing the outlet. He is getting stopped and doing crazy passes. He is double pumping shots as well. He has no rythm.
Disagree. He routinely drove like this in Utah to set up his yeammates, and he’s doing it here. Nonissue.

Kyrie-Tatum-Horford are our Top-3 on the team. We'll need them all to step up in the 2nd half to win.

need to see which teams adjust in the fourth quarter, oops third quarter.

I wonder if the league office talks to the officials during the break.

11 points from Connaughton is killing us can’t let a scrub kill us like that. Bledsoe 3rd foul cost us we needed him in the court for the bucks

Not wrong, but I’m expecting (or hoping) that Connaughton cools off in the second half. He’s already scored 4 more than his season average.

As long as we keep up our ball movement I think we’ll be good
