Anyone here who is going to the game, every time Giannis makes a move, yell, "TRAVEL!"

Giannis leads with his elbows a lot and should be called for flagrant fouls.

I liked him too, but the NBA is looking like it's trying to put him "over" much like the WWE does with new talent.

Oh my goodness did you hit the nail on the head with this one. Giannis is 2015-2018 Roman Reigns.

Quote
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo offered a grudging respect to the Boston Celtics for their level of physicality through the first two games of their second-round NBA playoff series against Milwaukee.

"You can play to the limits of fouling," Antetokounmpo said Wednesday, per Yahoo Sports' Vincent Goodwill. "They definitely play to the limits of [flagrant] fouling. Now, you gotta f--king play. You can't complain to the refs; you gotta play."

Unbelievable.

This coming from the guy who gets away with murder from push-offs, and constantly traveling...

I'm really starting to hate Giannis, because I used to love how humble and no fooling around mentality, ("I don't care about being best friends in the NBA,") but man... Argh

Does anybody else consider it weird that the key word in that sentence - flagrant - is one the writer added? It's in brackets because Giannis didn't put it there!

I don't know what he did say or what this quote means. Somebody at BR is looking to stir things up.
Good point.  We have no idea what Giannis was trying to say without knowing the word that he actually used.

Did not realize that when I read the headline. If Giannis never used the word 'flagrant' then I have no issue with his comments. We do push the limits of fouling, Horford is one of my favorite players in the league, but I think he gets to defend with a physicality that other players aren't allowed to. Of course nothing even close to the definition of a flagrant foul.

If the word 'Flagrant' was really added by the writer and then used in a headline, well then BR = Fake News

Huh? What about Giannis gets to play with a physicality that only Lebron is allowed to play with.

I agree Giannis also get to be overly physical in a similar way to LeBron, but Horford gets to defend with his arms at more of a 45° angle more consistently than most players.

This has been one of the highlights of the postseason but I think it would've been a foul if a player with less reputation with the officials tried it.

To be clear I'm all for this kind of defense, I just think more players should get to use it as well.
