CP3 will never win a ring. Rondo was right. It's not his fault, tonight, but he'll never do it.

Harden and Paul= Malone and Stockton? At least the latter two made the finals 😁 No Durant, No Problem.

Lol I kept telling people here that Houston was overrated and there was no way they were beating GS. Couldn’t even do it when they caught a huge break with KD going down.

Rockets need a Miracle Milt Palacio moment.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Unpopular opinion. The Houston Rockets should blow it up.

If they can't beat the Warriors with no KD in Game 6, and with Steph Curry literally having an atrocious series, they won't win the chip in any season.

I don't know where else they go from here. Chris Paul just gets older, and their payroll will keep ballooning. What else do they have to add, if they can, to beat this team? And it's not just the Warriors. Other teams like Milwaukee are on the come up. Toronto might be good if Kawhi somehow stays. Boston is in flux right now, but if they somehow land Anthony Davis and keep Kyrie Irving, that's going to be tough. The LA Clippers has talent AND cap space. Denver is also on the come up. If they somehow get past the Warriors, can they get past the East juggernauts, let alone the other teams in the West?

Just blow it up. You had a decent run, but you just can't hack it. Time to hit the reset button.

Wow, congrats to the Warriors. Eliminating Houston without Durant.

I really thought this was Houston's year too.

I have no idea where they go from here to improve.

Curry shot like 8 free throws in the final 30 seconds.  Easier said then done to deny him the ball, but at some point the Rockets should have tried something different.  Take the man off the inbound pass and double Curry.  Try to make somebody other than the guy who hasn't missed a playoff 4Q/OT FT since 2015 shoot it.

Yoki:

You don't blow it up when you have an MVP caliber player under contract for three more years. Retool, sure, but no way do you blow it up. Its not like they're getting blown out of the water, they're competitive with the GSW.

I think they were trying to deny him the ball, they just didn't do a good job of it.

I don't know if people saw Klay's 3 where they moved the ball around, it started with Curry at the perimeter, the Rockets doubled him, he found Draymond who had an open lane and could have taken a floater from 6 feet away but he passed to the corner and the ball found Klay above the break for a 3. That's the kind of play everyone in the NBA, including Brad, is trying to do with their teams ever since GS have been doing it. But it's easier to execute when you have shooters like Curry and Klay.

Warriors easily beat the rockets without Durant.

“Shocking”.

Most stacked team in nba history

Would be hilarious to see them win the title again without Durant and prove how unnecessary he was to their success.

But how?

Chris Paul is older. Eric Gordon will be 32. They have no cap space to add something significant to this team. Who can they add to make this team better and beat the Warriors, especially if KD somehow stays?

And that's just the Warriors, can they even beat the upcoming teams in the East. Milwaukee is the best team in the league right now, and they are only going to get better.

I get retooling, but do they have the means to do so? With the Taxpayer MLE? Minimum contracts? Their draft picks that are in the mid 20s?
