In a span of the next SIX days... we'll play a total of 2 games.

This will feel like a really long series lol even if it somehow ends in just 5 games.

This scheduling is really bothering me. It makes the playoffs a lot less exciting (it is good for smart, but also good for brogdon).

Any chance the Celtics can acquire harden this summer if the rockets lose again to Golden State? I mean Celtics need someone who can attack the rim and draw some fouls and still resign irving

I feel like obtaining Harden would be close to impossible. But the idea of having Irving/Harden backcourt might be pretty awful defensively, but I think offensively might be on par with Steph and Klay.

Harden would have to explicitly ask for a trade, and request only Boston, which I feel like he wouldn't do.

If we're dreaming the impossible, I'd rather get Klay. Knockdown shooter that doesn't need the ball much at all who can defend on the wing? Yes, please.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I agree

Klay is the one you want. Silky smooth shot form

Am I the only one that still thinks Houston has a shot against Golden State?

A 2-0 deficit is never easy to come back from, but HOU suffered 2 close losses at Oracle Arena that could have gone either way, and I think they could manage to win their next 2 home games. But yeah, they HAVE to win Games 3 and 4 now. Go down 3-1 or even 3-0 and I think Golden State ends up winning in 5.

I think they're toast.

Houston is not winning 4/5 against Golden State.

I don't.

Remember last year when we were up 2-0 on Lebron and they did won 4/5 so nothing is etched in stone yet.

Of course this is GS we are talking about with KD and Curry...2 of the league's best shooters so, It could be curtains already for the Rockets.

I'm in the same boat, because I really think Klay would be the perfect player to put next to Kyrie.

Would anyone be okay with Jaylen Brown+ cap filler for Klay Thompson?

The Cavs had the best player in the series and were much more experienced.

I don't see that as an apt comparison.

Klay has won multiple rings playing as a 2nd and 3rd wheel behind Curry and Durant. He will be 29 next year.

If he wants more rings, his best bet might be to see if Durant is staying and if he is, re-sign with the Dubs rather than try to force a sign and trade to Boston. Also, a sign and trade to Boston most likely hard caps the Celtics, so Ainge would never do it.

But if he wants to be THE guy on a team, it won't be in GSW or Boston where he will be a 2nd or 3rd option. If he wants that, he probably is signing somewhere else. The Cippers, if they miss out on Kawhi would be a good option for him.

Haven’t watched the Nuggets this year until the playoffs but wow that Jokic is a hell of a player. Hell of passer to go with great offensive skills.

The Cavs had the best player in the world but a worse team. Meanwhile, the Warriors have four all-star talented players on their starting lineup.
