  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
I was at the game last night, there was a decent amount of Miami "fans" at the Garden. Probably a lot of bandwagon hold overs from the Lebron years.

He was definitely treated far better here than he deserved. I don't understand the idea that Celtics fans should be celebrating him. He intentionally injured one of our best players in a playoff series and as great a player as he was, he was the dirtiest player in the NBA for years.

I fell like there's also a bit of revisionist history going on as well. He was a very, very, very good player, but he's not an all time great. He's not up there with the recent celebrants Duncan, Kobe, IMO Dirk. Honestly, he's probably more on par with our guy, Paul Pierce. Are they top 50 all time, definitely, but you'd be crazy to name them as a legend of the league.

That Rondo injury single-handedly put our season away.

Plus, Wade is a dirty player- just ask Ramon Sessions, Lance Stephenson, and Kobe Bryant.

I loathed the Miami Heat during the 2010-2014 days for two reasons- Queen James and Dirty Wade. Good riddance to Wade. He will not be missed by me.

I found it a little bush for Ainge to bring that up about Rondo.

I think it was Danny's passive aggressive way of saying "We recognize you as an all-time great adversary and an NBA great but we also recognize you were a dirty son of a witch."

I kinda liked it.

Man !@#$ D-Wade!

I seriously dislike that guy.

I like how he has mentored and taken a lot of young players, but I don't respect the way he embraced and played the game. Absolutely no respect, it is only fitting that their one big loss in the formation of the Big 3, was when LeBron, and Wade mocked Dirk for being 'sick,' by making coughing sounds and putting their hands around their necks to imitate choking.
"I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies and hypotheses
Can't define how I be dropping these mockeries."

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Ainge might forgive him but I don’t.

That was a dirty as heck play.

Agreed.  I think any show of respect or appreciation for Wade in Boston was in poor taste.

Never thought D Wade intentionally hurt Rondo.

Classy move by Ainge...found his comment about Rondo hilarious. I Love Danny.

As for Wade? A true competitor, AWESOME Community Service spokesman and a seemingly fine human being. 1st ballot HOFer.

As the sun sets on MIA, CLE goes BACK to Lotteryville AND The Lakers continue basking in futility instead of hating on Wade I'm celebrating BOSTON's bright future.
