No offense to anyone, but I'm gonna go with option 3: I don't really care.
When we're promised fireworks, we don't get fireworks (not for several years, anyway). When something finally does happen, it backfires via injuries (Kyrie and Hayward) or lack of chemistry (Kyrie and the young guys). Even if the Cs get Davis, he tends to be a bit injury prone, and may be gone after only one season anyway.
And given how this season has gone, my consequently lowered expectations for this season's team, and the likelihood that the Celtics will continue to see high turnover for at least one more season, I'm not expecting anything truly special from the Cs until at least next year's postseason, maybe not even until the year after that.
