Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the way its set up is E1 (USA) plays F2 (Greece) on Saturday?

You are correct top of group plays bottom. E1 vs F2 although I do not know what group US or Greece slot into.
USA plays Greece in game 1 on the 7th and then Brazil in game 2 on the 9th.

Standings are carried over from the prior group as well, top 2 of this second round go to the knockout stages. So if the USA team beats Greece they are through. It gets weird if they lose to Greece and beat Brazil as they could potentially be caught in a three-way tie that would go to tiebreakers.

Yep its gonna be Greece vs USA Saturday. Both will be in what is now called group "K"  along with Brazil (3-0) and Czech Rep (2-1). Each team in that group will play the other two teams it has not already played so thats Greece Saturday and Brazil Monday for the USA. After those two games top two teams from group K advance to an 8 team elimination tournament.

*Fafnir beat me to it

FWIW the two most likely 3-way ties are Greece/Brazil/US at 4-1 each with US losing to Greece and beating Brazil, Greece winning both second round games, and Brazil beating Czech and losing to the US

First it would come to record in games among tied teams (tied 1-1)
Second point differential in games among tied teams (Brazil is +1, Greece is -1, USA ???)
Third is points scored in games among tied teams (Brazil is 79, Greece is 78, USA ???)
Fourth is point differential in all group games (USA +75, Greece +30, Brazil +20)
Fifth is points scored in all group games (USA 279, Greece 266, Brazil 265)

So by whatever margin the USA were to lose to Greece (X) by they would need to beat Greece by ((1 - X)/2) to at least move onto the third tiebreaker.

I don't think it does.

Edit: Knockout round games are all listed as TBD here I assume that means the USA games if they make the knockout round will be on a proper ESPN cable channel.

If the USA doesn't make it I am sure they will just all be on ESPN+

Haven't watched it yet but I see Jaylen was the star of the game.

Game 1 star of the game: Kemba Walker
Game 2 star of the game: Jayson Tatum
Game 3 star of the game: Jaylen Brown

I think I see a pattern.😁

Very pleased with Australia's win over Lithuania. For so long they had the edge on us, now we've beaten them in consecutive World Cups.

I don't see Greece beating the US in a normal game. They were largely dominated by Brazil and the score was way closer than the second half would suggest. Leandrinho missed 3 out 4 FTs in the last minutes and Luz was handed a completely non-sense unsportmanship foul that resulted in a 4 point play in the last minute. Even 3 point ahead with 2 seconds remaining, Brazil fouled on a non-shooting motion player in his own half and the referees awarded 3 FTs to Greece that resulted in 2 points.

International rules seem to damage the Greek Freak's game a lot, because of the inexistance of the restricted zone and the lesser amount of fouls allowed.

USA versus Greece should be a fun game. Greece seems to have some veteran players that could hurt the US, but as mentioned, they are not necessarily dominating any team in the league. My Brazil will have a good challenge against Czech Republic then USA. They will have to win at least one of those games, with the most obvious being Czech, in order to advance.

The tournament has been pretty fun to watch though. I like that the lower teams have a chance to redeem themselves and considering that they are playing against other inferior teams, actually have a chance to win. Turkey, the team that blew it against USA, loses and doesn't advance in the 2nd round!

Japan badly overmatched. Lack inside size.

Imagine if Ainge and the Celts can find a way for the Celts to play Japan in the regular season 82 times.
