Tatum will miss the next two games (the final pool game vs Japan and the opening game of the 2nd round). Neither are elimination games. He will be re-evaluated on Monday, which is the first possible elimination game day for Team USA.

Hopefully he's fit and able to contribute to a Team USA gold medal!  :)

Against Turkey, Kemba and Tatum were the only USA players to get 30 minutes or more of playing time.

Pop trusts Tatum and Kemba in crunch time.

When USA wins the gold, Tatum will be one of top 3 players of Team USA.

Marcus is out today with a quad strain. Its unclear if this is just maintenance since they've already secured their advancement or an injury that will keep him out of the knockout round.

Try Firstrowsports. There are like five ad overlays at the beginning, but then it's a fine stream. The commentators aren't in English though.

Smart hasn't played yet.

Per a note a few posts up, Smart is out with a quad strain.

Japan is in a 2-3 zone. Even though USA is winning by a lot, I wouldn't say they are picking this zone apart. Every time they have an opportunity to get it into the high post and attack from there, the big man pops out and sets a screen on ball like its man to man. They haven't gotten many layups or attacked the baseline much either.

This is a really good game to practice an offense against the zone, because better teams will run it against team USA.

Jaylen playing much better against Japan.

Kemba as usual, a scoring machine.

This score looks much more like you’d expect for USA vs. non-elite international competition.

Hachimura seems to have been held in check.  Can someone who is watching tell me who’s been defending him?

Japan badly overmatched. Lack inside size.

Other notes:

Not sure if its just the players available or not, but I like the Plumlee-Lopez frontcourt together.

If Derrick White could hit a shot, he would be really special.

Khris Middleton looks about as athletic as the Japan players.

Barnes and Brown mostly. I wouldn't say its all his fault though. The Japanese guards cannot get him the ball in spots where he can do something with it because of the pressure by Walker, Mitchell, and White.

When they switched to zone he has attacked a little more with some nice moves, even though he has missed a few.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the way its set up is E1 (USA) plays F2 (Greece) on Saturday?

You are correct top of group plays bottom. E1 vs F2 although I do not know what group US or Greece slot into.
