Right, because the Celtics haven’t beaten them all 3 games this year, 4-1’ed them in the playoffs last year, and 3-1 last year regular season. Like, I get your concern about the team, but it’s a bit absurd to say “I don’t see them beating the Sixers.”

it is why we were all very upset last year because we shoulda won the east and made finals. there is no guarantees for the next year. look how this year has played out.  i do not see how this team with this coach making same mistakes all year will flip any switch. there is no switch to flip. this is brads last year. danny may just make the change.

If Ainge is honest he will admit he is part of the problem. Terry Rozier should not be on this team at this point but DA can't let go of his binky.

It’ll change fast in t minus... 4 months

It was pretty clear the focus isn’t on this season when Danny made no significant moves at the break.  Other contenders dumped assets to lose to the Warriors.  It’s whatever to me at this point because things are going to look a lot different with this team come this summer.  Let the Raptors dump their assets and after Kawhi leaves for LA it’ll all be short lived. 

It’s too bad the kids couldn’t play nice together but that’s what happens when guys are in contract years, they know they aren’t part of the teams future plans and they’re in it for themselves and their families. 

All that being said this is obviously a low point but it’s because attitudes are down and the interest isn’t there for these guys right now.  Realistically these games are meaningless compared to playoff games and I’m sure we’ll see a better Celtics team then.

I guess my question would be, why is it always about "next season" with the Celtics?

Why can't we live in the moment and focus on this season? What if we don't get Davis and Kyrie walks? Is it going to be about the 2020-21 season 2 games into next season?

At what point does Danny get the criticism he deserves?

Because from where I'm sitting, Ainge hasn't won jack since 2008. And I am talking about titles, not trades, or draft picks, or yada yada.

Their effort level and body language looks like they’ve given up so it’s a little hard to get behind them right now.  So like I was saying, either they’ll be a different team come playoffs or it’s on to next season.  That’s their doing.

Probably to discuss whether Irving is hellbent on staying or leaving cuz these losses can't keep happening.

Next Ainge needs to have a talk with Stevens, questioning his reliability as a coach. It should be his last chance and talk. And when the C's go on another losing streak this season that's it for CBS.

I don't either but that is mainly because Kyrie is injury prone and will most likely miss more games instead of less in coming seasons. Unfortunately I think Ainge and ownership are all in on adding AD to the mix with Kyrie next year. Maybe the Knicks can talk Durant and Kyrie to join forces.

You can probably tell how awkward it'll be for Tatum and Brown for being on the trading block, but the trade failed and thus they remain as Celtics.

Irving probably leaves and then Ainge is left with a bridge that's on fire.
