If we go from visions of Anthony Davis and Kyrie to Rozier (or worse), I’ll be pretty bummed.

If we lose Kyrie AND retain Rozier then I might develop intractable depression.

Agree. Feel like Rozier is the root of all problems. They should have moved him last summer.

For whatever reason, Ainge has always liked Rozier. Maybe he thinks he's cute.

Rozier justified some of that trust last post-season. I didn't expect him to be that good, but I also thought he'd permanently turned a corner in his career. Oh, well.

I'd be upset with Ainge for not properly reading the room at the deadline and not getting something for him.  Imagine Porzingis added to this core next year (as an example).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Agree. Seems like the 2 biggest issues are Brown and Rozier. Rozier should have been sent out at the deadline.

I'd be bummed if I were Brown, too. So he had a tough start to the season, just like many others. He has since played just about as well as anybody and is still stuck on the bench playing 25mpg. This, after he was a starter for all of last year and played a major role in leading the Cs to their ECF appearance. If we weren't signed for next year, he would be a surefire goner.

As for Kyrie, it would be totally depressing. Losing that kind-of value for nothing in FA would be a disaster - I agree with Moranis that acquiring a guy like Porzingis obviously would have been much preferable to Kyrie playing out a lost (to this point) season. Everyone just needs the off-season to come.

Brad needs to grow a pair and chew out Guys including Kyrie when they don’t move the ball or make stupid passes. Or jog back on defense.

Kyrie played his ass off tonight and played for almost the entire game. And Brown is NOT playing great. He shows his flashes of brilliance but he's not consistent.

Blame Ainge for assembling a mis-matched roster of 7 small forwards, no shooting guard and no center.

Let me clarify on Brown. Feel like it has taken him some time to accept his role on this team for all the reasons you mentioned. Probably created some friction.

He has played very well and should be starting again.

Other than like 4 minute stretch in the first quarter Tatum was nonexistent, Morris is going the othe way after playing consistently well most of the season.

We need Baynes back too.

Also Morris. Sooner or later he is going to have to return to the bench. Hayward progressing and being consistent would certainly help.

Interesting what Kyrie said after tonight:

Kyrie was mostly unconcerned about this loss. Said playoffs are all that matter and “I still don’t see anybody beating us.”

I feel as though Hayward should have started this game, were it not for the length of Markannen and Lopez. Instead, he got froze out by Rozier's inability to actually play team basketball and Brad's refusal to bench him for it, so his confidence might have taken a hit. Plus, he looked a bit ginger on the ankle he rolled, so who knows.

I would start him soon though. He's been playing good defence and he's a good passer. Morris' defence is still solid, but his passing is crap

Kyrie is a empty stat sheet stuffer. His stats don't equate to wins.

Stop blaming Brown. He's a bench player and not even getting major minutes.

This team is disjointed. I truly feel none of them like playing with Kyrie. Its obvious.

It really is funny when people say a guy who averaged 30/4/3 in a historic Finals comeback, including hitting one of the biggest shots in NBA history to win a championship, produces stats that don't lead to wins.

Literally can't make this stuff up
