This is a hard question. You could just go the conservative route of saving cap space by letting Rozier, Morris, ect go. Give more responsibility to Brown and Tatum, and look for whoever the next big star that becomes available is. Problem with that is we will likely be making the SAC pick and LAC pick this year and now the only extra pick we would have moving forward is the MEM pick. Brown and Tatum both have one less year of control. So our assets are starting to deteriorate. There also isn't an obvious superstar moving soon after Davis, and we would lack a star to pair with that guy to get him to stay if we could acquire him. Horford is in his last year and a year older now.
The other approach is a full on youth movement. Let Morris go, trade Hayward and/or Horford for picks, give more responsibility to Tatum and Brown, ect. Problem with that is even a Smart, Brown, Tatum core by itself is probably still a playof team in the east. You arent getting bad enough to tank, you arent getting a lot ofr Horford or Hayward, and even if you trade the vets and gte cap space in summer 20 it is a bad free agent class.
No real good approach other than hope Tatum/Brown becoem Durant/Kawhi or George/Butler at least.
