I'd consider him.  He has good size, rebounds well and his FT shooting has improved.  Would he come here?

He is in decline. Also, he is owed $22.9 million. Even pro rated that is a lot of money for the second/third string center.

In addition, he doesn’t really fit with CBS offense.

This link says he could be a buyout candidate.  I just don't know why the Knicks would want to keep him.  They are in tank mode.

No one can claim him - they don't have the salary cap space. He'd go through waivers and then a team would be able to sign him outright.

Can Dallas re-acquire him?

That would be pretty awesome if they did.

CBA prohibits it if I remember correctly.  Think its a calendar year from the trade or post July 1st after their contract expires.

If the Celtics are willing to pay without cutting anyone significant, I don't care about the money.  He won't need to do much offensively.  He can set picks, get offensive rebounds and stay out of the way.

he'd be amazing with us imo, amazing rebounder defensively and offensively! Him and Baynes will be swatting everything away!

Can't shoot 3s. Pass.

Yeah, we like our big men skulking around the perimeter and allergic to rebounds!

He could be great for Boston if he was willing to accept his role. He provides what no one on the team currently can. However, he'd have to accept sitting on the bench when Baynes is the better matchup or when Horford is at center.

I'd take him and give him Theis's minutes during the playoffs.  Another big to clog up the lane and get rebounds wouldn't hurt.
