Washington is in full tank mode....anyone left there worth considering?

Washington is stubborn.  They’re going to meander towards the back half of the lottery and keep their expirings like Ariza and Green and try to re-sign then next summer.  So they’re not actually in full tank mode.

the Lakers have interest in signing forward Markieff Morris if he is healthy, according to one person. The Lakers have a roster spot available after trading Zubac and Beasley. Morris was acquired by the Pelicans on Thursday from the Washington Wizards, but he was waived later that day. Morris, who is in the final year of a contract that pays him $8.6 million, still has to clear waivers. – via Los Angeles Times

Maybe Gortat would be a good pick up. Kyrie would feast going around those big illegal screens that never get called. Gortat is huge.

Yup Yup...Gortat is the guy I want, setting all those moving screens. and you're right, it's NEVER called on him....til he becomes a Celtic.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Get Katner..he is better than Baynes

Yes on offense... maybe on rebounding... never on defense

Why is no one mentioning what a sieve Kanter is on defense?

Kanter is a sieve on defense, no doubt.

It'd be nice to have a big physical goon at the end of the bench ala Greg Kite!

Why do you say that?

5/5 in 16 MPG? I'll take that.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

I want Enes Kanter, period.

We need more SWAG on this team.

I know he is limited defensively. I know he can't shoot from deep. But I like his attitude.

Ellington signing with Detroit according to Woj

Ugh, too bad. Prioritizing getting enough playing time to get a longer-term deal next summer over winning, I guess.
They cut Ellenson to sign him. Shouldn't C's have some interest in Ellenson? Just 22 might be worth 2 year min for another big man prospect to develop.

Maybe just maybe this team wasn't playing up to potential because they know Ainge likes to trade. Now that the deadline has passed everyone can just play

They had won 10 of 11 before the Lakers game

Will the Grizz buyout JV? This would be a better fit than Canter. JV could backup Baynes and a rotation of Horford, Baynes, Theis, JV and Williams is solid.
