I doubt Kanter takes that deal. Robin Lopez may be a better fit.

Whomever takes a 2 yr deal probably knows they will be part of a deal for AD. Plus the minutes this year may be down.

I would like Kanter but I'm sure he takes the deal.

Wonder if Vuce becomes an option? Magic could do a better tanking job if they buy him out.

Ugh, too bad. Prioritizing getting enough playing time to get a longer-term deal next summer over winning, I guess.

Maybe Gortat would be a good pick up. Kyrie would feast going around those big illegal screens that never get called. Gortat is huge.

I'd say no way they buy out an All Star.

Plus I believe I read they are still pushing to make playoffs and that's why they didn't trade him...so not tanking

Gortat seems like he has very little tread left on them tires lol Should sign someone that can help now and possibly be in a trade package for AD. If bought out I like Dedmon: rebounds well and nearly 38% from 3. Dunno if NOP would want him in trade tho

Might be a stretch, but I think he does.

With his fugitive status in Turkey, and him still trying to get permanent residency in the United State (I think), he'd probably want the financial security. So he'd take any guaranteed money he can.

I don't think Kanter would be any more useful for us than Monroe was last year. Just doesn't seem like a guy for our team.

Well I think Kanter is a bit quicker and more nimble than Monroe.

Also, Monroe had his moments for the Celts down the stretch and in the first round of the playoff last year.

Feels like having a productive interior-focused big man could be a real help against some of the top teams in the East this year given how many big men they've added.

Yes on offense... maybe on rebounding... never on defense

Why is no one mentioning what a sieve Kanter is on defense?
