So we are up 10 at half and sleep-walk through yet another 3d quarter in a middling game. Celts have been in position to gain ground this week with our East rivals on the road or, poor Indy, losing their superstar. This team has a head problem - simple as that.

If we brought the same effort we did in the Warriors game more often, we'd be beating these teams (even the red hot Nets) by double digits most nights. Alas, that's been our problem this year, frustratingly inconsistent. And it's not just one thing either, it's a lot of different things happening along the way.

This is why they can’t count themselves as an elite team. Elite teams don’t have these big swings between a good and a bad performance.

Yeah it's the main reason we're still 5th in the East and not at Toronto/Milwaukee level right now. We very well could be... IF we were simply more consistent.

like i said earlier we got this but this team just cannot seem to play consistently at all.

if it weren't for the fact that we are playing them tonight, I would be pretty impressed with the Nets.  Working really hard out there against us.
