Hayward May be the toughest decision of Ainge’s career.
Untradeable .
Although a few good games more often then not not an asset .
Keeps Jaylon on the bench and probably annoys the heck out of Jaylon.
How this  works out may influence CBS future here.
I haven’t read a reasonable ,in my opinion, option yet. Except to hope he improves.
Fingers crossed Hayward becomes Utah Gordon Hayward again

Maybe Tommy needs to tell Hayward he’s fat? Didn’t that work for Kyrie

I say he has at least 2 years to get right before you think about moving him. He stays on the bench for rest of this season unless there is an injury.

Gordon deserves a pass until next season when it comes to being an All-Star caliber player.  As for this season, it's realistic to expect him to regain his shooting form from a few years ago.  There is no reason that Gordon isn't capable of shooting 40%+ from three with the number of open looks that he gets.

At what point does Brad come to the conclusion that Gordon needs to focus on doing a couple of things VERY well?  This team can make plenty of noise without the old Hayward.  He needs to find his confidence as a role player with the current group.  There will be plenty of time for him to round out the rest of his game this off-season.

Last night's performance was rock bottom for him.
Have not seen an ex all star play atleast 25 minutes and contribute ZERO, zilch, nada on the offensive end.
He has been sucking in December and is ave less than 10 ppg for the season.

Every drive he does he just wants to pass that teams can predict what he will do.
He has no more issues with his injury but he has issues with his lift and shooting has also been abysmal..heck a guy like Bertans outplayed our 30 million man.. SERIOUSLY.???

We've got plenty of depth at that spot. Give him a few weeks off to do some mental and physical therapy.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We have no other choice but to ride this out. At this point he's untradable. It looks like he's hit some kind of a wall. I'm sure nobody feels any worse then him.

I would reduce his minutes until he can be of some kind of value to the team.

Hayward isn't the problem.

We have no interior defense until Baynes and Williams come back or Horford's knees get batter.

Yeah, Hayward is no the reason we suck right now. I'm beginning to worry about Horford's knee though, this is becoming a chronic issue and he's not exactly young anymore.

Thing is if Hayward can just be that reliable scoring presence of the second unit then we will games easily.. Is it really to much to ask for 15 to 20 points from a player who torched the Warriors and the Clippiers in the 2017 playoffs?

Yes Hayward is part of the problem..we need his offense but all he wants is just collect his paycheck. The defense will always be i  trouble for now until Baynes comes back.

As long as he needs, he is the future of this team. I don't understand, we are acting like The Morris Project is the long term solution...

Despite scoring 0 points Hayward's net rating was still +5.2 versus SA. He's a good basketball player that helps the team both offensively and defensively even when he's not scoring.
